VirbacDental Chews CET103-3 Vanilla-Mint Toothpaste (3 Pack), 2.5 oz

I RETURNED THE TOOTHPASTE!!! There is NO WAY I will risk using this. I have been using this brand and flavor for my dogs for ten years. They love it! I usually purchase it at the veterinarian's office. I purchased the three-pack on Amazon, and as you can see, it was all tainted or spoiled. The tube on the right with the remnants of pure white toothpaste is a tube purchased at the veterinarian's office, and has an expiration date of 04/2022. I see other Amazon customers have commented that they found the toothpaste to be moldy. I am suspicious of the authenticity of the product and will not be ordering it online again. I will stop by the vet's office on Monday to get more toothpaste for my boys. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I have used this product, as often as possible for the cat mouth. It usually smells nicely to the pet and to the human. It partially covers bad breath. It helps the teeth and gums normally. I put a little on my finger and allow the cat to take it into the mouth for swallowing.But recently, I ordered the CET toothpaste three pack, and I got a bad tube. It had the CET toothpaste brand marking on the outside, and was the same size. But I had to jab the tube cover into the seal to open it. Then it seemed more liquid in consistency. There was also a metallic neck for the cover, which wasn't usual. But I passed it over as new brand styling. I gave a little to my female cat. She threw it up. I took another look. The toothpaste looked the same color, but smelled acidic and like a strong alcohol substance. I became concerned for my girl, and she has a very upset stomach, which is larger than normal. I'll watch to see if she's ok.

Potentially unsafe batch. We like this brand and have used it for 10 years, bought from our vet without issue until we ordered here. Contacted the Virbac company after opening these, to inquire about this unusual brownish color and low odor (usually bright white and minty smelling) and and report lot # of these unexpired tubes. Representative said they’ve gotten reports from customers about this issue, which they attribute to “oxidation”, but advised against using it. Also said there are manufacturing issues which they were addressing. Noted they recommended purchase from veterinarians or vet approved pharmacies. Not worth the risk.

Whenever we get this toothpaste out, both my dogs come running. It was recommended to us by a vet for our cat years ago, and its good for dogs too. My dogs love it, which makes brushing thier teeth much more fun. Its like a treat. It works great, as its enzymatic and helps break down plaque even after you stop brushing. I like the vanilla mint flavor as it smells the best. Highly recommend!

We've used this product for years for all of our dogs. the flavor is something they seem to like, and it leaves their breath smelling great as well. I know b/c Im always getting licked in the face when I try to take nap on the couch. Makes me want to go and brush my own teeth...lol! Really though, it's good stuff.
