I have been on the market for a good deshedder for my Shih Tzu's.If you know Shih Tzu fur, then you'd understand the trouble I've gone through to find the perfect tool to keep their hair beautiful and luxurious.I have tried and failed with many deshedders.But I am quite pleased with the results of ThatsNaturalLife.The deshedding tool is so perfectly constructed in every way, shape and form.The blade on the tool comes right off or snaps right on.Which helps to store in the long run.You can remove up to 95% of shedding fur from your cat or dog within minutes.Shedding is quite natural, it usually occurs a few times in their life.but it's important to groom your pet with a good quality tool, otherwise the process of deshedding will become chaos for them AND for you.-What you get:The 4 inch Stainless Steel comb and safety blade protector.and a very strong and comfortable handle that will not break.(they don't come assembled but they literally just snap on!)The grip on the handle is so comfortable, which means you can spend some quality time taking care of your business without reaping the consequences.I really needed this tool because my poor female Shih Tzu has some insane mats on her fur cause of lack of having proper equipment to deshed her with.It actually didn't take much effort on my part to take all those mats off, thanks to this tool.It swiftly and safely deshedded all her mats and extra hair.I am quite impressed and I highly approve.All in all, a great tool to get you started and to help your poor pet during those dreadful deshedding times.5/5-The following rating comes from:1 star- Packaging. I only have this an average rating because it's my first time using one of these so I used this following directions on a Chihuahua mix, a rat terrier mix, a Pug mix and a Maltese mix.Verdict:Chihuahua-fairRat terrier-fairPug mix-worked good on tail onlyMaltese mix- worked good on tail only.The Rat Terrier has course short hair who sheds like no other. It did a decent job but what I found out is that the directions say comb for 5 minutes combing the way the hair grows. Well since it's not sharp, I decided to use it going against the hair growth and then combed going the way the hair grew which worked much better because it was able to loosen up more hair for me to remove as opposed to just doing it as directions said plus my wrist was getting tired.Of course, I did 4 dogs so naturally my wrist should be tired. I did the same way for the Chihuahua also and again I was able to get more lose hair.The Maltese and Pug mix showed results in the tail only getting any little kink out that regular brushing may have missed.Great on fluffy tails.I even found another way to use this and it picked up lose hair that was on my bedspread which was very convenient. Usually I have to vacuum everywhere.I haven't been able to test other brands yet and it didn't pick up clumps of hair like it said. It was a handful between the 4 of them so that was good considering they get groomed daily.It's good to use to make sure you get those extra hairs. This adds an extra peace of mind.They loved the massage they received from the combing. I can say that for sure.I got this because it was highly rated and overall it was okay. Handle was easy to use. Good for the price but I have yet to try anything to compare it to.

I was looking for a brush for my long haired cat. Using this product on the cat, I produced so much fur, I was astounded. A couple of days later, I noticed the cat looks ragged. This product is not necessarily a brush, as much as it is a thinning comb. THERE IS A BLADE IN THE COMB!!! I didn’t notice this in the product descriptions. I thought I was removing loose hair—turns out I was giving my cat a shag haircut. The product definitely works. It’s just not what I thought I was buying.

Use this on my dog everyday and we both love it! Gets so much hair off so it’s not on my couch and floor!!

It really helps control my Rottweiler's under coat. Which reduces the shedding when he comes in to sleep

Doesn’t remove quite as much hair as you would think but it does work decent.

I am currently living with a cat (my roommates!). Before I did some research, I had very little knowledge about cats. I bought this brush to try to prevent shedding, and I think it does a great job! The physical product is great quality and the teeth of the comb do a good job catching the hair. When I brushed her for the first time, so much hair came off that I almost got worried. Before I purchased the brush, there was literally hair EVERYWHERE. Now, the shedding is much more controlled and I find my apartment to be much cleaner.However, the best part of this brush is that the cat LOVES it. She rolls around on the floor and lets me brush her stomach. It feels really good to her, so I can spend as much time as I want brushing her. I really do consider it a treat for her.I am happy I bought this product and definitely recommend it to others. I think it was a great price and value. It’s a great preventative measure for shedding.

This brush is awesome! It removes so much more excess fur than other brushes I have used! Good quality and my kitty loves it too. I've noticed how silky and soft his coat is since using this 3 times a week on him.

Our dog does not like combs, rakes or gadgets. She is suspicious of everything. Kind of questioning the contraption at first but now does not mind it. It will rake the hair. The more you comb, the more comes out.

This is by far the best grooming brush I’ve found for my dog thus far!! I have a Husky Rottweiler mix and shedding season is the worst with him! This brush works amazing to remove all the loose fur When it comes time to seasonal changes it’s lessened my need to sweep daily!! Highly recommend!!!
