Fabulous product
Sturdy, easy to use product, used medium on 6 month boisterous golden doodle, brilliant way to train, no pulling, excellant for strong dogs, now use large for 11month to adult dog, highly recommend.

Good Concept But Failed On Second Walk
I am looking after a friend's German Shepherd dog for a month while the owner is abroad. He is a young, strong dog and a couple of days after he moved in with me they bought a Gentle Leader collar via Amazon and had it delivered to me - hence I am not shown as someone who has bought this product.I liked the product's initial impression with good packaging, and decent instructions. The design seemed sound and the collar was fairly easy to fit to a lively dog.On the first walk it performed as promised and the end result was a large dog that was easy to control. It all seemed quite promising, and I looked forward to further stress-free walks using the collar.On the second walk it failed. The nylon cam-lock buckle that secures the collar around and below the dog's muzzle broke. The collar became insecure and the dog easily wriggled free. Luckily I was only in a local park with a short walk back to home, and I had a chest harness on the dog as well. This allowed me to get him safely home.The broken part was lost in the grass, so I cannot say whether the fault was poor design, or a manufacturing problem. Wherever blame lies, the complete failure of a product when used on only the second occasion is unacceptable. I have asked the owner to apply for a refund.I cannot recommend this collar after my experience.
