101 Top Tips from Professional Manga Artists Paperback – April 1, 2013

A great book with many tips and ideas for manga. I am an experienced artist and still like books like this one to give me an occasional idea or bring up refreshers to material I learned long ago. This book is good for quick introductions into the process of designing manga, but is not ideal for those wanting to only learn how to draw it on a basic level. It is good for those interested in doing something additional with their art and can impart a few ideas.

This book was recommended by ImagineFX magazine, a magazine I have been reading since 2006 with issue #3. I have read only part of this book so far but what I have read the information was worth the price of admission. It also should be noted that the pages are gorgeous to look at and well laid out. this is a book I will be keeping close to my drawing table for some time.

For those who are aspiring manga or anime artists this book is a must have for your bookshelf. It covers so many different aspects of the manga and anime creations and it helps to unveil all of that "oh it's such a mystery, they much have this idea just popping out of their head" idea and really allows you to think about the artists as actual down to earth, hard working people.

This book is really helpful. Now I know what tools and tricks to use when drawing. It even tells how to digitally. I recommend this book.

cool art work but I'm not looking for text I'm looking for a book with lots of art work and maybe some text. but I'm sure it's useful in a way.

I chose this for my granddaughter who LOVES to draw Anime type drawings. I gave this to her for her Middle School graduation and she LOVED it

Great book if you're a beginner, but if your looking to improve your art more professionally look elsewhere. I recommend the ImagineFX series.
