Fiesta 10-1/4-Ounce Mug, Peacock

Came quickly and was just as the pictures show.

Delivered the item in a timely manner and well packed. Completes a dinner set.

These mugs have become ridiculously expensive. For the price you would expect excellent quality. This one came with a noticeable chip. It was packaged very well, wrapped in several protective layers, so I can only assume it was shipped like this. Gee thanks.

I keep thinking this is a Fiesta knock-off, it is good quality but not exactly the same as my other mugs. The Fiesta imprints on the bottom are barely readable, and the cup is thicker, the handle is a little bigger than my originals. The indents on the outside along the rim and under the handle are not as vivid as my originals. It is a good mug, I just have this uneasy feeling that something is off.

I like the plum Fiestaware mug (though I was skeptical at first that I'd find the loop handle as comfortable as a standard mug handle). About 2 years after I received my Fiestaware, the loop handle on the plum mug just snapped off. I have done pottery myself, and from the clean break, I think the handle just wasn't attached well to the mug when the clay was wet. Or maybe another item tapped it while in the dishwasher and knocked it loose. could glue it back on but when filled with coffee, the weight of the liquid might be too much for the glue to withstand. I ordered another (no refund/no exchange) and it's held up fine so far.

I bought a place setting at an outlet; should have carefully checked the box but didn't as I've shopped this outlet many times with no problems. Unfortunately found that instead of the Fiesta 10 1/4 oz mug I had the Fiesta coffee mug which didn't match the other 13 place settings I had. As a rather OCD personality, I just couldn't cope with that one odd mug. As black has been discontinued it proved to be a bit problematic until I decided to try Amazon. My perfect, brand new, just right mug arrived promptly and now all is right with the world.

Fiesta products, in general, are rock solid - they last forever! The sunflower Fiesta mug is a lovely color! You can mix and match all of the different colors for a bright way to enjoy your morning coffee!

I love fiesta ware. I had somehow been missing one sunflower cup for awhile now. Glad to have the set complete again!
