Love This Product!!!
I should first tell you that I'm on my second one of these. The first one lasted about 15 years before it gave up the ghost. My late mother gave it to me, and it was the best gift I ever received in my life.It only holds a single bath towel (but since I only use one at a time, that works well). Some other reviewers have complained that it doesn't heat the towel enough. I'd agree that if you start it just before you get into the shower, you probably won't find your towel warm enough. But since my routine is to get up, press the switch to start it, then do about ten or fifteen minutes of other things I do first thing in the morning like weighing myself, starting my morning tea, and making my bed, it's ready to be pressed again just as I'm ready to get into the shower. When I do that, the towel is absolutely toasty by the time I get out of the shower. To say I love this device would be a massive understatement! Without a doubt, it's my favorite household appliance, and (as far as I'm concerned) downright indispensable!

Not the warmer it should be.
Not thought through in it's design.Only one smaller size towel at a time will fit and warm well.Plan on a fifteen minute warming time and plan on using the towel right away. The warmer does not retain heat. After the warmer shuts itself off it begins to cool down quickly.I've had my warmer for almost a month and the strong UNPLEASANT odor of burning plastic mentioned by other reviewers persists with every use. The smell is so strong and so unpleasant it is necessary to open a bathroom window for fresh air.I will discontinue using the warmer soon if the smell does not begin to abate.

That warm and comfy feeling!
I am a massage therapist who works with the older client. As older clients often suffer from arthritis, they appreciate a warm towel on their feet andback to relax and ease their discomfort. The Jerdon towel warmer works so well in my massage room, as the counter space is limited and this warmer takes up very little space. The towels are heated in about 10 minutes and will keep extras ready and warm when I need them. If using hand towels, the warmer will hold several at a time. This product cools relatively fast so that it's safe to leave it after a session. Most towel cabbies are too large to fit in a small office, but this little gem is perfect. It does have a plastic odor when heating but I use essential oils...a small dab on the top rim of the warmer or on your towels will take care of the plastic odor.

So-So
I couldn't wait to try my new towel warmer. The concept of a compact towel warmer was enough for me to spend the $79.99. However, I am somewhat disappointed. It lightly warms, not really warms; if you know what I mean. It works better on hand towels than on a full size towel. I timed the warming cycle. It only warms for 5 minutes. Perhaps 10-15 minutes would do the job. Who takes a 5 minute shower anyway? By the time I got out of the shower, the towel was not warm at all.I still have the box and all and will give it another try before I return it.

The best towel warmer ever!
After I placed my order for Towel Spa towel warmer I read a review that mentioned an awful odor when using the warmer. I am so pleased to say that there is absolutely NO odor! This towel warmer is the best I have ever used at fraction of the cost of the more expensive models. The towel is completely warmed in about 10 - 15 minutes. I also used it to warm my robe and it works equally as well for that! I purchased a wall mount towel warmer that was ridiculously expensive and it does not warm the towels nearly half as well. I highly recommend this product to everyone who would love to be caressed in luxurious warmth as they step out of their shower or bath. Can't wait to use it in the winter! Thank you for this awesome product!

It was great while it lasted
I haven't much to add description-wise to other reviews. It is compact, holds one average-sized bath towel, warms a bit unevenly but still nice to have on a cool morning. We didn't notice any plastic odor. Our Towel Spa warmer stopped working after 4 months. The heat indicator light is on suggesting that the unit is heating/hot, but the heating element doesn't turn on. We've been unable to find any information on self repair. It would have been nice if it had lasted longer, however for final cost of $20/month will wait until some competition is available before replacing. We live outside the lower 48 so it is not worth the cost to ship somewhere to repair--assuming one could find an independent repair site. The mechanism can't be all that complex, so the unreliability is very irritating.

Does not get warm anymore
I should have returned it when I had a chance but gave it another chance when I spoke to the seller. I does not even get warm anymore!!!

What "plastic" smell?
This is a conveniently small, easy to use unit. I bought it as a gift, and the recipient seems quite happy with it. I used it several times myself. While it does not warm the towel to the level of a commercial clothes dryer, it definitely takes the chill off and makes the towel comfy.I never experienced any cold spots on a towel after using this unit. The entire towel was warm, though not uniformly, but hey, what do you expect? This is a little home unit, not a commercial spa towel heater. Some reviewers commented about a "plastic" smell. I did not detect that at all.I will have one of these in my own home next winter!
