MEIKEE Solar Lights Outdoor: A++, recommended. I usually don't have the time to write product reviews, but when I do, I make sure I have kept the product for a while and tested it before writing a review. I have purchased about 30 of these LED lamps. Some of them are now about two years old now and still going strong considering the high California heat, the unusual rains, and the heavy winds. First of all, I love the color. They have a yellow-warm tone, like the old regular light bulbs, but soft as you would see in a restaurant but bright enough to keep the area lighted. They are very well built and well-sealed from water, and the design is solid; the solar cell has lasted a long time as well as the motion detector. The solar panel component has started peeling a little bit, but they work just fine, and the battery they use charges fast with the California sun. The price is outstanding for the quality. All in all, for me, this product has been amazing and long-lasting, and I highly recommend it. A++ Recommended. Note: I opened one just for fun. It was hard to get it opened because the back cover is well-built, sealing the unit and protecting it from water. The cover has four waterproof screws. The battery has white silicone around the ends, ensuring water protection and a firm connection. The wiring is sized correctly, with JST connectors instead of cheap solder, and with clearly labeled wires to the two mini-PCB boards. Also, I am showing how the mini solar panel looks like after two years. It started to peel a little bit, but not much, but they continue to work very well. I hope this review helps.

The light is a very pleasing yellow. It brings back memories of hotel outdoor lighting. The motion sensor works very well even from an oblique angle, and it does stay on long enough to keep passage lit. It will reset and re-light within seconds. I'll install tomorrow.I read one reviewer who said "didn't work". My suggestion to that guy is: the on/off button has to be pushed pretty hard! There are two clicks, one lower than the second one, which is a higher/sharper click. Since they are new, I pushed the button carefully (indoors in a dark room), on, off, on, off and it did not come on, so I left them charging in the sunlight all day. I tried again at night, on, off, on, off and started thinking maybe they left out the battery, and pushed harder. I got a higher sounding slightly smaller click, and a kind of flash-bulb effect because I had it pointed straight at me. So, yes, it works just fine. You'll only push that button once, basically, so no big deal at all, and no one else seems to have had a problem with it, but I thought I'd mention: push it hard!

These Warm White LED lights are so much easier on the eyes than the standard LED lights. My driveway is at least the length of a tractor trailer and the lights detect a vehicle as soon as it enters the driveway, lighting the way of the driveway without being blinding. If the price on these hadn't gone up so much, I would have ordered more. They were under $20 last year.

Lights are perfect and are as described easy to use and the motion sensor works flawlessly. Will be buying another kit of these. The only issue is the mounting screws and wall inserts are the wrong size for the hole in the plastic light. They are too big for the light to mount them. Luckily have nut, bolt, and screw bins sorted by size and had some available. Otherwise, the hardware not being the right size was the only issue I would recommend the white light style over yellow depending on the area your installing lights in.Mounting screws are the wrong size which comes included with lights.Screw head which is a Philips head they have a width or diameter that won't slide into the light mounting point location. Replace screws with those that slide in location or break the plastic.You will, need 4 screws for each.If using motion sensor turn lights on as they have on/off switch on the back-side.

The light is great….when it works. I bought 4, installed 2, and 1 of the 2 already stopped working 10 days after I installed it.

I purchased these in 2022 and they're working great. All of the items work and they are still bright in 2024. I ordered two more sets in 2024. This time two were defective out of the box and wouldn't illuminate after any amount of charge. Four are ~5% as bright as day one. With a 75% failure rate I can't recommend this item.

I bought a similar model a couple years ago that was the 5000K harsh white LED light and only stay on 15 seconds. For me this model is an improvement at 2700K warm light and on-time of 30 seconds. A bit smaller than I expected, check dimensions and number of LEDs. No adjustment for on time of 30 sec and no adj for sensitivity. And when I step off my back porch the light just 4 ft to my left doesn't come on till I'm in the yard about 6 ft. Granted the light is mounted just 3 ft off the ground, maybe if higher might be more sensitive. Point is I'm not confident about the 180 or 270 degree sensitivity. Only 1 mounting screw so it needs to be tightened just right to have the light not be too sloppy and still be able to slide over the provided screws. Most impressive thing is after a month or more 2 of them are still working on the North side of my house. I thought these would only work with more sun exposure on E, W, or South.

We purchased these solar lights to place along the walkway for our carriage house. We bought our first pack over a year ago and decided this year to add more lights. All 8 of them (2 packs worth) are working great and provide a substantial amount of light.
