The definition of "PU Leather" is very misleading - it's a cheap leather finish on top of wood. Moreover, the latch was half broken. Finally, the partitions inside the box were made of cardboard with the same cheap leather finish.

Its wood grain leather. It looks really nice a sophisticated for the price. We have dogs and things get dusty really easy and now his watches are safe. He has watches with pretty large faces and they fit well.

This was surprisingly a well designed and beautiful crafted product. I was not expecting that due to the price but was pleasantly please. Sometimes negatively you get what you pay for and this definitely does not fall into that category. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this watch storage box.

I gave it 3 stars ,because after a couple of months use one of the hinges came out of the wood. I was able to repair it with new screws and some wood glue

Bought this to store my watches and I am very happy with it. The wood pattern is nice. The box feels sturdy, and the locling mechanism feels tight as well. The watch cushion is on the large side. It's not an issue for me, as my watch are on the large side, but I can imagine it being hard for smaller watches to fit around them.
