CohassetGifts 650-15 Cohasset 6" Molten Glass

I saw some similar ones at a garden center, and I really liked them. I was put off by the prices though, much more expensive than this. At least double the price or more. When I saw this listing, I thought I would give it a try. Just as advertised. Great quality, nice heavy glass and real wood base. Things to be aware of: the glass definitely has a slight blue tint, it is not clear, and the fit of the glass on the stand is good, but not super stable. (You should expect this, since the glass is poured over the wood, and not attached in any way other than the 'fit' together which is good) So when moving this around, make sure to hold both the glass and the wood, separately or together. I don't see this as a drawback, I am only pointing this out so you don't break it accidentally. The fit when stationary is good, but I wouldn't put it anywhere it would be jostled much. I have considered using adhesive to keep the two parts together, but haven't decided to yet.

It arrived quickly and well packaged. It looks better than I expected, the glass is good quality and quite thick (slight blue hue as you can see in pics). It sits well on the natural wood base, it is secure. I like the way the melted glass burned the wood it sits on. The glass bowl can be lifted from the base. The wood has not been treated, its sanded but still has a natural texture. The base is flat and it sits well on a table or shelf.Overall this exceeded my expectations and will make a good terrarium.

I got this as a gift for my sister for Christmas, and it was definitely the "prize" of the day!The weight is actually heavier than you'd think. It didn't rattle around in the box at all, driving my mom up the wall (Because she wants to know everyone's gifts!) despite me telling her not to shake it! It came with a styraphone thingy between the glass and the wood, making sure your glass isn't scratched after it cooled. The glass does lift off the wood, it's not permanently melted there, so you could possibly toss it in the sink to wash, or the dishwasher.I warn you, the glass is THICK. If you drop it, I don't think it'll flake a lot like a light bulb, but it will if you are one of those glass floats doe fishing kind of person.All in all, a beautiful product! Really want for myself now!

This glassware on driftwood made the perfect display jar for the very meaningful rocks I purchased from an Etsy seller.

Love the item, but only gave it 4 stars as the top of the bowl is crooked, making it look slanted. But otherwise a beautiful piece!!

I love the structure it’s just the glass needs to be a bit thicker. For the money you pay is totally a rip off.. I found these local in Mexicali blues for half the price and the glass was at least a half inch thick

Piece of art. Glass is thick w/slight tint of green/blue & it’s well-made. Wood stand & bowl fit together perfectly. I wish the stand was not burnt & left in its natural state. My bowl has some air bubbles, which I love, making each glass piece unique; no two alike. Using this for my 2 opae (shrimp).

I bought this as a gift for one of my best friends. It arrived well packaged. It's really quite beautiful and unique. It's perfect for someone who enjoys beach art or upcycled gifts. It's truly a one of a kind gift - I'm sure each piece is unique.

Well packaged..came pretty close to exactly as shown..minimal wood..there are burn marks on it between the glass and wood but will be using to build a terrarium so it won't show..delivery took a while to BRAMPTON ontario..but I expected this during Covid

Well packeded, glass was not broken, sits on wood perfectly, not too heavy, looks good and will make as a great present

It has some scratches on the glass, and tbh while I understand they’re hand made with individual characteristics, I’m not super thrilled that mine kind of looks like a pulled tooth. I like it, but I’d love to exchange it.
