I don't know about this product.Just received it. Tried it with wet and dry hair. I have course medium to short hair.Upon opening it, I saw what looked to be very thick wax. But it's so heavy once you rub some on your hand, it looks like thick and hard pastry or some sort.I can't really explain it but this should definately say "REALLY REALLY SHORT HAIR ONLY".Once it's on your hair, you'll see "wax residue" in the form of small white balls all over.Once you're done with it, it looks like you have dandruff.Perhaps the one I received is bad batch but first impressions count.And no, I did not get this as at a "discount" to review it.Sometimes, reviews are misleading as they do not tell the whole story.Read only verified reviews and not from people who got this for "free".If you are expecting this to be cream-like, you'll be greatly disappointed.If you have high spectations for this to be great, it's not.Stick to compound-based products if you want to mold and let go.Also, this is for very fine hair. Do not forget to wash your hair TWICE.This will leave your hair VERY oily after the first wash.

I've been using hair products for 25 years, and I'm very picky. I have straight hair, and I like a bold look. I've been struggling for the past several years trying a hundred different products to get what I wanted. Most don't have enough hold, or they're pasty and hard to work evenly through the hair. I've been looking for a good hard wax. This arrived yesterday, I tried it this morning, and I'm in love with it. It went in easy, and I had the effect I wanted 30 seconds later. Several hours later, it's holding strong, keeping it's texture and mild shine. I will be ordering again!

This stuff holds quite well, and is not at all stiff. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that it kind of makes your hair feel dirty to the touch.

It is Best to use it in slightly wet hair, any clumps and it dries like glue. Less of a wax and more like a gel. Others wise it's an ok product. I generally use a dry wax, that is a little pliable after it dries.

I'd never used hair wax before but needed something to deal with extremely short post-chemo hair as it grows out. The Urban Effect wax has worked very well to help me control unruly hair in front of my ears and a crazy cowlick. As length permits I'll use it to do some mold spiking a la Judi Dench (I'm 55). Good product!

This is the perfect texture and hold to give my short white hair some body and I have flexibility in how "outrageous" I want my hair.....stand up spiky or soft "messy" look. And no smell......thank you for that. It feels a bit hard, but loosens up a bit as you rub your fingers together.....it doesn't take much! And I love how I can control my hair.

I love the texture, makes it so easy to apply. Really good hold, and barely any shine...even after using hair spray.FYI...my office is close by the riverside so it gets really windy.

Great quality and keeps the hair on place all day!
