Prostyle Hinged Patella Knee Brace, Large/X-Large

I have used these braces for several years because of a torn ACL, but the new design does not offer enough protection from hyperextension. Even with super tight velcro, there is still too much wiggle room with the hinges. It actually seems to offer no protection for my ACL.The old one is almost worn out, but I'm going to keep wearing it while I look for a new brand. So sad because I have recommended Bell Horn to dozens of people.

I had the new brace before in a bigger size and decided to go to the smaller one. The only issue I have is that the size under what I had fits a little small. I'm between sizes but they don't make a size that I could fit right. Other than that great brace and great support

After (too) many years on the railroad, my knees are pretty beat up. These offer good support to take some of the pressure off the knee joints themselves. They ARE very warm to wear in the summer, but that is part of their function, to keep the joints warm. I feel quite a bit warmer during the day, and it does feel great to take them off when I get home, but all in all, they do the job for me. My knees can make it through the day.So far they have held up to being worn every single day for the past few months.

I like this brace very much and I have 3 of them now. They hold up well. I have bone on bone arthritis and this brace really helps me out on those bad days.

This is the second one of these that I've purchased and they do help me with my particular knee issues when hiking. They seem to give me the extra stability that I need and alleviate some of the stress on the knee joint. The first I purchased from a local medical supply store and I paid quite a bit more for it there than I did on Amazon so I appreciate the price break. These do run somewhat on the smaller size so if in doubt err by getting the next larger size. I'm a male about 6'1" in height and around 185 pounds. I don't have particularly think legs but the large/XLarge fits just about right for me.

I'm not sure WHY it helps, but I had ONE for a long time and when I stressed my knees clearing my land with heavy knee-high boots, I would trade off the one knee brace and whichever knee was braced, it felt better while the other one was worse. So I bought this second one, slightly different model but works great too, finally my knees are improving! THANKS! (everyone says get knee surgery but I HATE general anetheisia)

This is a great item! I have had a torn meniscus for months, and unable to walk, despite doctors physical therapy. I am doing all I can to avoid surgery, and this particular brace gives excellent support to the muscles behind the knee, and relieve pain immensely. This is a GOOD item when looking for some mobility. The side pins provide a great support from pain, too. A good alternative to pain killers, too.

I would suggest getting help to put it on the first time. Thereafter, listen the tightening bands only and put on/take off.
