Love this kettle! Looks great specially next to my bodum coffee press, looks like a set, love all the functions and that you can use it on the table as a teapot, even though I don't. However, have only had it for 2 months and it's now malfunctioning. It has a function to leave it on to keep warm, but I've noticed twice that even with the button for that function off and light off it's still constantly on and overheating which is potentially a hazard and could ruin kettle as water just evaporates and burns the bottom of kettle, so it needs to be plugged off mains to be sure after using, especially if using it at night time as it could start a fire. This didn't happen before but it has now happened twice and its too late to return it, and I absolutely love it, and I don't know if its an isolated issue with my kettle or kettles from this seller as I've seen same kettle from other sellers with good reviews and this one did not have many when I bought it.

It is good product. Only bad point is there is no any button to open the lid. So if you are holding your baby with one hand and try to fill up kettle you will not be able to do that.

I bought this kettle as I quite liked the design - it's a bit like a cafetiere. It works fine and doesn't take long to boil. It's designed to be used right-handed, so if you use your left hand (like us) you can't see the 'on' light or the volume markers when on the base. There is a 'stay warm' function but we never used it. The downsides are, there is no limescale filter, so bits can get into your drink. I thought the flex cord was a bit short. The button to switch it on is where you would normally find the lid opening button. We found it empty but switched on a couple of times (not sure how that happened). And the Mrs found it dripping underneath a couple of times. In the end, my wife decided to swap it for another kettle. But I thought it was OK.

It is reliable it also has a keep warm feature

This is not as good as they make it out to be and it doesn’t meet what they say about a quick boiling system of 5 mins 👎🏿 and the lid needs to be more secured as it seems loose so personally I would put it as poor quality and for the price you would of expected a better product I would look at purchasing another kettle and stay well clear of this one

The slowest boiling kettle I have ever owned. And now, only a year later, the plug flex has split. Too late to return. Very disappointed in this kettle. I can understand why it is no longer available as it’s rubbish!

After only a few months purchase, I switched the kettle on and after a few mins I smelt electrical burning. To my horror, I saw that the plug had melted and without my intervention, this would have turned into a fire. This is a cheap poorly made kettle. Please stick to the well known brands. I'm sure that you've heard of cheap electrical products that catch on fire. This is one of them. Cheap because they cut corners on high quality materials. AVOID at all costs.
