After reading the reviews, that made me feel not so hopeful on this item, specially one from a plumber, I've decided (like himself) to have a go at this shower head and try it myself, to get the real opinion of it, which is pretty much what I've read on his review, and I'm not even a plumber, but all made sense to me while reading it, so I'm breaking down my review to try to help those that could be at the same situation as i was, first starting with the shower head itself, it's a nice piece of equipment, made mainly of plastic, lightweight and nice to see the water flow going through it, which brings me to the other aspect of wanting to try it in first person, as it refers to increase (Low to High) the water pressure that comes out of it, and that's something i need because my hot water supply comes from the typical old school boiler, a common British thing, and so to take a shower with a weak pressure is not nice at all, well, it didn't, in fact the water pressure was lower than with my other shower head, in the jet mode, there was no jet, out of 3 modes i was only able to use the normal shower mode, so not useful to me, I've noticed that the water running through the head don't fill all of it, so there's some air inside, if that makes sense, the Stop function is ok, but again, i don't see great use in it as i don't take long on the bath, so i need the water constantly running, about the multi coloured filtering beads, not sure if they filter the water, as i don't have anything to test it.So my opinion is, if you're after a shower head to increase water pressure, it's not going to happen, not with this and not with any other, cause the problem is in the source, the boiler system, that uses mainly the gravity to bring water to the different home taps, in the other hand, if you want something that looks different, and/or if you have a nice water pressure, then, go for it, you won't regret it, i guess.I've returned mine, no problem at all, great seller, and nice item, i recommend, reason why i gave 3 stars, the item itself has no problem, simple doesn't work for me, and i think it's not fair advertising it increases pressure, when it doesn't, otherwise i would have given 4 or 5 stars.Hope this review helps you, and apologies for being so long, but it's needed, in my opinion.Regards

Good, but didn’t increase water pressure. It may be because where I live there’s no water pressure at all so it didn’t make much difference. However if you already have some water pressure, it’ll probably work as it thins the water.

The product build quality is good. I opted for this one as the cheapest despite some being more expensive I could see from images it was the same.The shower experience with this changes dramatically. The water does come out a bit quicker but feels very different, more misty. I was aware immediately that less water was covering me. This left me feeling a lot colder in the shower! I also had to crank up the heat quite a bit. The aereation affect caused significant cooling of the water so I had to compensate. In the summer I think this will create a lovely refreshing shower experience. In the winter I think I'll swap for a different head. I like the jet setting for hair washing. This speeds me up in the shower. I don't think I'm saving money but I needed a new head and this works well.

I've been using this shower head for 4-5 months. Within the first month there was a little crack in the plastic where the head part screws into the bit you use to hold it, so a little bit after leaks through there. A couple of months later there was another crack so now it has two leaks. The water pressure is great compared to shower heads with bigger holes for the water, as one would expect, but the build quality is very poor.It has three modes you can use, but you have to be careful not to press too hard if you want to use the one in the middle position because as soon as you press a little bit it jumps from position 1 to 3 and the other way around.I would rather invest in something a bit more expensive but better quality.

A good buy so far . Filters the water perfectly and changes the flow of the water as well . Love that you don’t need to turn the tap off every time when you still need it . There’s a button on the shower head to do that and press it back on to start the water again . Ideal for when shampooing hair .

Easy to install and use. Perfect for the hard water area we live in.

This product is all plastic.But after a few days the holes in the shower start not working..It doesn't help if the pipe has not enough pressure and also the filters are not good at all. After a month it broke.

Had a £10 Amazon voucher so thought I’d use it for a new shower head at that price I wasn’t expecting it to be as advertised however I’m happy to say I was wrong. It has definitely increased the water pressure coming from the shower the three different settings are good and the ability to quickly remove the head and use it as a hose with a stop / start function is a great idea. What more can you ask for a tenner definitely recommend this to others
