The Bailey series keeps getting better and better by the book
I loved visiting Tilikum again! This time with the youngest Bailey, Gavin. Skylar is the forbidden boss's daughter and home after some hardship and Gavin befriends her while having to take some time off from firefighting. Tilikum is still as charming and fun as ever with the fued and pranks. Add to it a little series mystery and it's an amazing book in an amazing series. Cara is awesome and everyone needs someone like her in life. I'm hoping she gets a book in this series! In this book, Gavin helps Skylar out of her shell (he's an out going dare devil and she's incredibly shy and anxious), but things change when Gavin steals a cookie... I love this series so much and hope Claire never stops writing all the books!

The many sexy and fun adventures of Gav and Sky!
This is the fourth book in the Bailey Brothers series. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet, fan your face sexy, hilarity, a continuing mystery, a long standing feud, epic pranks, family loyalty, drama and a little bit of danger. Gavin and Skylar’s love story has all the feels. Skylar comes back into town after her life implodes - professionally and personally. Gavin is the youngest of the Bailey brothers - the one without fear who has broken more bones than the rest of them combined. They meet after Gavin survives without injury after deploying his fire shelter in the middle of a wildfire and he steps off the sidewalk to go celebrate without looking both ways and Skylar hits him with her car and breaks his leg. Skylar’s father, Gavin’s Chief at the fire station, asks Gavin to help Skylar acclimate to the town and make friends since she is shy. Gavin agrees while promising not to date Skylar. Their friendship grows as do their feelings for each other. On their way to their HEA, Skylar has to come to terms with her past, embrace her anxiety, and find her writing mojo and Gavin has to learn to deal with fear for the first time. Like the first three books in this series, Rushing In includes a number of secondary characters, some we’ve met before and others are new. Rather than being overwhelming or detracting from the main love story, these characters are central to the main love story and to the heart of what makes small town Tilikum so wonderful and so hilarious. I am excited to hear what happens next for the Bailey brothers and rest of the town. With Rushing In, Claire Kingsley once again proves she’s a fantastic storyteller.

This book is everything!!!
Rushing In was the book you never knew you needed during our interesting year of 2020. It starts out with high action, and never really slows down. It's youthful without being immature, and really makes you think back to your twenties and how much fun and a little reckless you may have been. The added story line of Skylar's parents was fun, the Bailey Brother's prank was great, there was more revealing of the past and how the feud may have started. You get some of Gran, and some of the rest of the family, don't forget to keep track of new Broisms, and a great tear jerking moment with Gran and Gavin. I really don't know how Claire does it with each book in a series getting better and better. Can't wait for the rest of the series!

Amazing
Amazing is the only word I've got to describe Claire Kingsley’s newest Bailey Brothers book, Rushing In.Skylar is coming off a horrific breakup when she decides to move back home to her dad's house to regroup and hopefully start writing again. When she bumps into Gavin the chemistry is off the charts but neither want to start a complicated relationship. Under the guise of being "just friends" they start an amazing relationship that had me quickly turning pages to see how it would all work out for them. Add in the other Bailey Brothers, fueding family pranks, a century old mystery and an adorable kitten and Rushing In deserves way more than five stars. I can not wait to read the next book!!

Are you feeling hot, hot , hot? You will be! Need a fireman? Call Gaving
Heart captured in chapter 1. How could it not be? Gavin is the guy you want to wrap your arms around and just awwww. He steals your breath by just being him. He’s the guy we all know or think we know in highschool and every guy and girl is just immediately drawn too. He’s not a cad, he’s not a jerk, he’s not a playboy,he’s just Gavin who has a zest for life. He enjoys every moment and then some. Enter Skylar (Sky) insecure, doubtful, smart, inquisitive, in another world at times. She doesn’t know how beautiful she actually is. Skylar has let others steal her worth. She’s about to learn just how smart and daring she is.The “meet cute”between these two is almost to die for and believe me it almost was!Gavin just draws you in and doesn’t really have to do anything but be himself. He’s not even trying. In fact if anything he’s trying not to be himself. That makes him even more endearing. The moment he calls her Sky I’m hooked. Just like everyone he has his issues and he doesn’t even know his own worth.Skylar, is such a force to be reckoned with. Watching her evolve, her transition was amazing. She was always a butterfly (not a caterpillar) she just didn’t know it. Her colors brightened with her evolution.I won’t go into detail because you need to read this book. I’d do you no favors if I told you the story. Just trust me this book will have you thinking so many things about your place in life, family, friends and your self value. That’s all I’m saying. This author’s dialogue and banter always puts a smile on my face. It’s not phony. It’s like you’re actually there listening to the conversations and the thoughts. She’s so talented. You will laugh, smirk, be angry, in lust and be romanced. The pranks alone will have you chuckling out loud. The heat will have you turning on your air conditioning.I read this book so fast. I was actually angry at myself I didn’t want it to be over. However, I already know there’s more coming. So I’ll patiently wait, because I already know it’s going to be good.

Loved this
Favourite of the series!Gavin's book is finally here! It's the one I have been most excited to read and it did not disappoint!Gavin is a total dare devil up for anything, Skylar is much more cautious and weighs everything up.You think Gavin is totally care free, lives life in the fast lane, which he does but at the same time he is hurting from losing his parents so young, has no memories of them but doesn't want to put a damper on things when his brothers are talking about them. When Skylar comes into town to stay with her Dad, who is Gavin's boss, she is get over a break up and just wants to get back to her writing which she loves but it's been struggle! After Skylar literally knocks Gavin over and he can't work for several weeks, Gavin decides that Skylar could do with a friend and he is the man for the job! Can these two really be just friends though? The sparks fly instantly between these two! I loved Gavin and Skylar! I loved seeing everyone again. I loved when Gavin was talking to his Gram about his parents there were tears! As always a special mention has to go to Cara! Everyone needs a Cara in their lives, I want her to adopt me!Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Cheeky friends with benefits romance… loved it!!
**Warning… this is Book 4 in the Bailey Brothers Series. They have been written with every intention of you reading them in order. If you haven’t read books 1-3… you really should before you continue. You won’t regret it because the stories are excellent and the you’ll learn about all the brothers and the other brilliant characters. This review contains spoilers from books 1-3 so be warned **I was a little surprised that book 4 in this series focused on Gavin Bailey. Being the youngest Bailey brother, I naturally assumed he’d be the last, but now having read this fantastic next instalment in this excellent series… I understand why he kind of jumped the queue.Gavin Bailey is the crazy, fun-loving, thrill seeking youngest Bailey boy!! No matter what the situation, you can always rely on Gavin to bring a light hearted and humorous twist. Nothing scares him. Whether he feels no fear or whether he just has no recognition of it is the question… but he heads into every situation with a devil may care attitude. Often asked if he has a death wish, he responds that he doesn’t want to die, he just wants the live life. So being a firefighter is kind of perfect for him.Following immediately on from the epilogue of Book 3, we’ve just met Fire Chief Stanley’s daughter, Skylar. She’s a beautiful, smart, successful author of thriller novels, but her life has just hit a huge brick wall. Not only is she contending with a serious case of writers block, she’s also just had her world upended by her cheating boyfriend, who’s also her agent. With nowhere to live, no inspiration and no publisher, Skylar is lost and a little broken. She’d expected Cullen to be the one. Marriage, children etc etc… but no. He’s been sleeping with a married woman… and just to rub salt in the wound… another author. With her life literally unraveling, she moves back home with her Dad.They do say that often love hits you out of the blue. Nothing could be more true for Gavin. Within hours of facing death during a wildfire, he steps out into the road and BAM! He gets hit by a car… a car being driven by none other than Skylar.Mortified and embarrassed she heads around to see the damage she’s caused to find the most dazzlingly good looking man she’s ever seen lying in front of the car. Immediately she is captivated by him but there’s a couple of complications. Firstly, she’s just hit him with her car… not the best start. Secondly, her Dad is his boss!! But heck, he’s damn cute! Now that Gavin is slightly incapacitated due his newly broken leg, Gavin sets about becoming a one/man welcoming party for Skylar. Who better than to show her the town than someone who has lived there his whole life and knows everyone. They quickly spark up a mutually beneficial friendship… Skylar keeps Gavin from going stir crazy and Skylar gets to see the town.As predicted, their friendship blooms and soon they’re fighting their feelings for each other. Skylar because she doesn’t think she’s ready for another relationship and Gavin because, well… he’s afraid he’s not boyfriend material, and she’s the boss’s daughter. The pull between them however is far too strong. And Gram has certainly seen that spark between them.Unable to deny the physical attraction any longer they end up in a steamy, lust filled encounter. They have the best sex of their lives, but they are still trying to convince themselves that they shouldn’t be a couple. In a bid to continue their friendship but also give into the strong connection, they decide on a ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement. Hhhmmmmm but how long can that possibly last before feelings start to get in the way. It’s not until a terrible tragedy strikes and Gavin is faced with the prospect of losing his beautiful Sky that he suddenly realises that the biggest fear he has in his life is losing her. The thought scares him more than anything he’s ever faced. He feels the desperate need to secure a place for her in his life… but in his haste, has he pushed a step too far?I loved this story so much. With each Bailey Brother I meet I fall in love with them… but honestly, I think Gavin is my new favourite. He’s so cheeky, funny and adorably sweet. And he’s got a cute relationship with his rescue kitten, Princess Squeaker. It’s obvious from the outset that these two are going to end up together. It’s written in their stars… Air and Water… two things that need each other to exist. The journey they take and the way their love develops is so touching and heartwarming.Gavin gives Skylar that much needed confidence and encouragement to step out of her shell, whilst Skylar grounds Gavin and makes him feel wanted and desired.I love that we continue to find out about the family member from previous books and there’s that ongoing feud and plot line which keeps developing too. Excellent series that just keeps giving. Loved it!!

Where angels fear to tread!
Gavin Bailey is a fireman who managed to cheat the demon chasing him - a huge bush fire! Crossing a road to celebrate with his brothers he gets knocked down by a car! Driving the car is Skylar Stanley, the fire chiefs daughter. With time on his hands due to a broken leg, Gavin becomes Skylar's friend and they start to hang out together. What happens when friends turns into something else? Will they burn out or will they dance in the flames? This was a great read, with fun and chemistry, a rescued kitten and a couple of fires needing to be out out!

So darn lovely
Sky & Gav made me happy. The way Gavin was written was perfectly him - hyper and a little sad - and Skylar was delightful. The murder cabin is easily one of The Best scenes - what a sweet guy to create such a gift! (If you're confused/curious about a murder cabin being sweet...good. Go read this book.)
