This necklace includes two small hand stamped discs and two Swarovski crystals on an elegant chain. Additional stamped discs and birthstone crystals are available.Each small round disc charm is stamped with the letter of your choice. The charm measures about 9.5mm in diameter (3/8"), and is 20 gauge thick sterling silver. The initial impression can have black ink applied or be left plain. The edge of the disc can be left smooth or it can be hammered.The Swarovski crystal can represent a birth month or favorite gemstone. The 6mm channel setting is silver-plated or rhodium-plated brass.You can select a rope chain, box chain, ball chain or small-link cable chain. The chain is sterling silver.Additional initial charms and birthstones can be added to the necklace. There are also optional sterling silver charms that can be added (see last two listing pictures).The 18" chain length is default for average women. A general rule for determining the chain length: measure your neck and add 2-4 inches, depending on where you want the necklace to lay. The 16" length works well for petite women and when you want the necklace to lay higher. I love the look of the initials and the gems. I would've given it 5 stars, but the black lettering has faded in the less than 2 months I've had it. I don't wear it all the time, and I do shower in it. The chain is great- it doesn't get snagged in my hair, so that's a huge plus!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mom and was very happy when it arrived in the mail! It craftsmanship is beautiful and it truly is a nice piece of personalized jewelry. It's also something she can wear with any outfit so I enjoy seeing her wear it often. Now, I just need one for myself!
