One of the best things about this diffuser is that it has very small holes and there is very little "silt" or tea that gets out and my tea is pretty fine... (It leaks out of every other diffuser I've used.) I wanted to be able to brew more tea at once. This does the trick as it holds several tablespoons of tea. The only negative thing I'd say is that since it holds so much tea, it can be used with more water so I used it with an 8 cup pyrex container and the opening was way too wide. I'm not sure where I'll get a container that this will fit across and not fall in without rigging something up like I had to do for the wide one. Maybe someone reading this will have a suggestion, lol

Works just as it should. The mesh is quite fine, and while I do get a bit of 'dust' it doesn't bother me at all. Others it might. It fits across all my mugs. Pretty easy to wash. One rounded scoop is the right size for a large mug of tea. The lid is handy to set the strainer in when you're done.EDIT 8/2018: the handle snapped off after a little over a year of use (purchased April 2017). Knocking off a star for that; it was a great infuser while it lasted, and a good buy for the money, but is now useless to me.

I have two of these. One I use as an infused which is perfect for its size and shape. The second I use...wait for it... To hold my toothbrush. The mesh makes its super easy to wash (hate the gunk that builds up in a toothbrush holder). The price is great especially compared to standard stainless regular holders. The lid goes underneath so your counter stays dry. My mother loved mine so I got her one for christmas . I use the scoop for salt and baking soda mixtures I make up instead of toothpaste sometimes. All in a all its great as an infuser but it's repurposing has been very successful too. The shipping was quick too. Good job producer.

I love tea! I have many different varieties of loose tea and some of them have very fine tea leaves. I own at least three different tea infusers and several tea strainers. I have been infusing the tea and then pouring it through a strainer to try and keep the tiny leaves out of my cup. It was a pain, and I still got some tea leaves at the bottom of my cup. Ugh! This infuser, however, really works! No more tea leaves in my cup. I am recommending this infuser to all of my tea loving friends. Thank you for making such a great product! It was delivered early and I couldn't be happier! I'm off to make another cup of tea!

This is a great little product. The cup is large enough to hold my favorite blend of loose leaf tea. It is durable as it stands up to the "smacking" on the edge of the trash can when I dump the leaves out. It cleans up in a breeze and it does a great job to hold the leaves in while the tea is steeping. I don't get a ton of sediment in the bottom of the mug. I have now been using this same strainer over a year. And it still looks as good as the day I opened the package. Great product.

I use this infuser with good loose leaf tea from Twinings and other suppliers. It works well and eliminates the chemicals and taste associated with bags and paper filters. The infuser is easy to clean after use and has not shown a build-up of sediment. It goes in the dishwasher and comes out totally clean. Washing by had is adequate though. I recommend the orange pekoe from Twinings and a splash of maple syrup and cream or milk. To brew tea, I use water just under boiling and steep only a few minutes. I sometimes raise the strainer to let it drain and then lower it back in to steep more. I like this strainer very much!

This is a decent infuser. I've been using it daily for over a month. Sits nicely in every cup style I have. Easy to clean and not a sign of rust. Works better for my green teas than the black teas only because I think the leaves are a bit larger. My only small complaint is that I wouldn't mind if it sat a but deeper into the cup.

This is sturdy and NOT too big for any of my average coffee cups. Never has a single loose piece of a leaf slipped through the fine holes. I really like that there’s a lid and even find the little spoon useful. I enjoy this so much better than any tea ball I’ve tried. And those are a little more work to clean IMO. So far, no rust or trouble with the lid getting stuck. I’ve been using it for about a month, 2-3 times a day. Wouldn’t change a thing about mine.
