The Stellar ring is a gorgeously rugged piece.Handcrafted completely from recycled sterling silver, I forged this ring to have rugged lines, deep facets and an overall organic feel. I've given the surface of Stellar a texture reminiscent of shooting stars, and as it is laid by my own two hands, it will be different every time this ring is made. Underneath the shooting stars are facets applied by me and one of my favorite hammers... This ring is covered in texture! Stellar has many characteristics to love, but one of my favorites is the overlapping of the sterling silver. It creates an eye-catching focal for this rugged ring. I've given Stellar a patina to accent the shooting stars and add depth overall. A friend and I were talking recently about handmade work, and the beauty that is being able to see the story of the making of the piece in the marks the maker chooses to leave behind. The marks made from the forging of Stellar have not all been buffed away. Some have been left to add character and to tell the story of Stellar's making. To let you know this ring was made with love, by human hands. Stellar is approximately 10mm in width, but varies slightly from this, by design.
