God product for the price
Nice little tool, good bang for the buck.

Hydraulic valve difficult to operate and shortly after starting to use the tool, it began to leak.
Hydraulic valve difficult to operate and it must be very tight to get the crimping to form. The tool started to leak oil after only twenty-five (25) 1/4" crimps completed. I have returned the item and purchased an alternative unit that has performed flawlessly. I do appreciate that the seller supported the product. Note that an acquaintance has used one of these exact tools for many months in contracting work and has not experienced same issues.

Not for 1/8" Cable Railings regardless of the listing's title
I bought this to make up ends for an 1/8" stainless steel cable railing based on the title of the listing. I have 2 different types of crimp ends, and this doesn't really work well for either one.The problem with this crimper is that the anvils jump from 4mm to 8mm, and 6mm is really what's needed. If I use the 4mm size, it crushes the connection and squeezes out 2 "ears". The crimp holds well enough, but looks bad. If I use the 8mm size, it doesn't really squeeze the connection fully and I don't want to risk it pulling loose when I apply tension to the cable later on.What's really needed is the 6mm anvil size, but they don't supply it.If you plan on using this crimper on electrical connections or 3/16" cable, then you're probably OK. Be aware that this is kind of a 3-handed operation - 2 to apply pressure and 1 to hold the cable in place until it grabs. But that's true of any of they manual hydraulic crimpers.

Anyone can install.
I bought these products along with 1/8 " aviation wire and hardware for railing on my back deck. All worked great and project was a success. I had watched Utube videos to get an idea of how to install. I would recommend this to any amatuer such as myself.

look good .
received on time -- look good -- have not used them yet -- may be a 5 star if they perform as advertised.
