Do not buy it, It was a used item and defected TV
I was very disappointed with this purchase, the item was opened and used before, I realised that after I opened the main box, all the plastic bags that contained the cables, remote etc was already opened. When I turned on the TV I found two yellow lines one is horizontal and the other is vertical.Well done for Amazon they returned the item and refunded me

Great picture, not all features work, support practically non-existent
I got a QLED because I have a very bright apartment and I was very pleased. The picture is a little over-saturated, but that's probably something I did and I think it helps in a bright room. This is the most important feature and the only reason I'm not returning it.Other pros - it connects as a wireless monitor to Windows PCs and the integration with my Samsung tablet is great. I love the remote and love that it's SOLAR POWERED! So cool. It's a modern remote that drops the number buttons because who actually need them anymore?Kinda con - the GUI requires too many taps to get to inputs. My philosophy is that most smart TV features are a terrible idea and OEMs rarely update. Buy a Google TV or Apple TV and manage everything through there.Big Con - the eArc port doesn't work. For those of you unfamiliar, eArc lets you plug your soundbar into the TV and use one remote to control volume. Certain features like Dolby Atmos need it. I'm super bummed I need to run my audio through the optical port.Biggest Con - Let me tell you about Samsung UAE support! Here's how it works: you call them up and they tell you to communicate via WhatsApp. If you decide to stay on hold, you need to hit 1 every few minutes to stay on hold. It makes it super hard to multitask if you're on hold. Regardless, if you get a hold of someone, they'll have tech support contact you (more about that in a moment). So, I've mainly used WhatsApp support. When you start chatting with someone, they will probably tell you someone will call you in 24 hours. This is a lie. I've gone through this cycle 3 or 4 times now. Despite multiple inquiries, guess when I heard from someone? A week later! Guess when they called? 1:30 pm on a Tuesday. Guess where I was? At work, unable to pick up.Does this put you at the top of the queue to schedule a call? No. It starts the whole cycle over again. I finally dragged it out of someone that the techs will only call 9 am to 6 pm. When I'm at work. I can't even take a day off since they lie about the actual time frame a call will take place. I'm 2 weeks in with this TV and cannot schedule any kind of support on the eArc issue. The tech support lies and if you have regular working hours, are practically unavailable. It's a great TV, but if you get it, just know you will receive NO SUPPORT AT ALL.

QN85A 55 inch, such fantastic tv
Update, somehow pepole call that gray black, maybe I need new glasses, so I uploaded some new photos from youtube videoYou guys jude it yourself.———Samsung has done wonderful job after the fail of the 2020 model I gotta say they nailed it this timeI dare say black here is same or even better than oled,Pros-Beautiful brightness and black-Alexa does perfect job on hand free control even with my bad accent she understand every command I gave-Adaptive picture does wonderful in here, for me it does way better on movies then movie settingsI tried gaming, 4k movies streaming from pc etc and the picture is stunningThe design is one of the best out thereThe little new remote working very well——-ConsWorse tv audio ever lol but can be fixed with sound bar, changing the tv audio settings does nothing at all, so I suggest you get sound bar, it’s so bad that we are watching movie and everyone keep asking the next person “ what did they just say “-as usual Tizen apps availability not that many and side load apps getting stuck often and need to reinstall them, however almost all major streaming services and apps are there- no longer able to stream your good stuff from pc using smart view anymore, some people might not care about that but for me its important. However overall in my view still 5 stars I would give it more if possible, for the price it’s worth every pennySpecial thanks to Amazon driver and the other person they got it to my door on the second floor and they didn’t let me help at allI will be updating this review in few weeks , sadly the sound bar didn’t arrive yet so will have to wait to see how it goingI would recommend it to any one, I am thinking of getting another one for my bedroom alreadyThanks all

Decent
A pretty okay upgrade, but in some ways not really better than my last Samsung TV with pseudo HDR. It occasionally gets stuck pixels that fix themselves and it’s a larger screen so I HAVE to sit further back or pixelation is noticeable around the edges of text or menus. The judder is also more pronounced and I can’t make out whether it’s because it has similar processing power, but due to the Smart Features and HDR it can’t keep up or because it’s a larger screen and it’s just more noticeable. Another step up and you get the super smooth motion from Samsung, I’ve seen it in my family’s tvs, so I’m guessing it’s 60hz on all but one input, but I can’t be fully certain aside from being allowed to select 120hz 1440p on my PC. That port is also the only port that seems to properly switch to 50hz in my Apple TV when watching PAL content. Otherwise it’ll show 60, even if it’s compensating. Cool thing about 120hz mode is no screen tearing in games, even when the frame rate isn’t over 60fps without Freesync. After a bit of fiddling, I find setting it to game mode is the only thing that allows it to match content frame rate and thus eliminates or reduces judder. It’ll still get bright and it seems to handle high dimming better than the regular mode. With game mode and judder reduction it can still be smooth, frame blur can also be set to something less than max without introducing more tearing.Where my old TV was sometimes stunning, this is often stunning aside from the judder. Really does take it to the next level being a lot brighter and darker aside from shows like Sabrina that are way too dark even on my OLED iPhone. Bumping up the color saturation basically matches OLED, but the gradients on OLED are a bit better, so bokeh looks more natural there. One thing I like and don’t like are the smart features. Apps included actually outperform my Apple TV 4K first generation in image processing, but the apps themselves don’t use Airplay 2 to use apps like a remote to control with any Apple device. Alexa is cool and has more features than Google, but she’s not nearly as intelligent. It all feels convoluted and imperfect. Not a Fire TV, not Android TV. No Siri. Samsung keeps getting closer to the perfect TV, but uses their leverage to push their own ecosystem, but I can respect that. That’s the flaw with the remote. I keep pressing Amazon Prime instead of Home and TV Plus instead of Play. I like that’s it’s rechargeable and hands free capable, but it’s got too much stuff I’ll never use. And what’s the deal with the split view that can only watch YouTube or TV plus? When is that ever going to be necessary? If I could browse the web or use my pc while using my Apple TV or even let you use X-ray while watching Amazon Prime I’d use it. Now it’s just pointless. Even video calling while watching TV would have been useful. It works with Airplay, so maybe when universal controls is released on Macs and iPads will make it useful for me.Big debate is whether I want to replace my TV as often or more often than an iPhone if OLEDs really only last a bit past your extended warranty. As it stands, needing to adjust so many settings is annoying. Instead of pushing the TV past it’s limits, let it do what it does the best. Maybe in a few years we can have 4K 1080p 4-way splitscreen. Now I’d settle for a default setting that detects source frame rate and better HD upscaling, perhaps using AI.

Excellent television, and what a DIFFERENCE!!!
What a WONDERFUL television! Another reviewer said it all ... why did we wait so long??! Stuck in the house for months on end, we spent a lot of time binge-watching series and movies. Our LG Smart TV wasn't old at all, no big complaints except for the platform, and having a FireStick helped. I'd obsessively researched many brands and models before making a decision. When a sale came up, combined with a great deal on Amazon Warehouse, I threw in the towel. We're delighted!! The price was right, maybe a bit more than we'd spent in the past but, with the money we've saved on travel and entertainment during the past two years, it was not a big stretch. We've had it for a few weeks, and there is no comparison in picture and sound quality with our former TVs. I'm a big movie buff and dearly miss the big screen experience. This Samsung takes some of the sting out of that. The technical specs (READ THEM) seem very accurate, we're still trying to update some of our skills in that department, but it's not a problem AND it was great right out of the box.I'll revise if there are any changes in quality. The only downside (?) at this point is that we're spending even more time on the couch.I must give high praise to Amazon Customer Service. I've bought from Warehouse frequently with no regrets as their descriptions have been accurate. If it says 'Used-Like New' and cites only damaged packaging, that's always been the case. This time there were a few issues. We didn't want the exchange hassle, so I phoned. They were fantastic, listened, understood the problem, and kindly (surprisingly) credited some money back to our account. That good will became a great sales tool, as I've spread the word.So don't wait... treat yourself!

Screen crapped out in 16 months. TV dead. Warranty sucks
For the brief 16 months that we owned this TV, it worked well. The picture was nice and glare reduction was better than our previous TV.Then one day, the screen wouldn't turn on. It would flicker. I tried resetting and doing everything advised online. Nothing worked. I called a TV repair service and they said it sounded like it was an issue with the screen. He said it would cost more to fix it then to buy a new one. Conveniently, the manufacturer's warranty is only 1 year. So, I was screwed. So, I won't be buying Samsung TV's in the future unless they do a 2-3 year warranty like other large TV manufacturers.Additionally, their extended warranty costs about $200 for an additional year and $300 for 4 years. You can buy a TV at Costco and get Allstate Protection for considerably less and be covered for 5 years. So do your homework on the warranty. You may need it with this TV.

Loses Internet. Unplug/Replug Required
The biggest issue we have is the TV frequently drops the internet connection. None of my other devices (phones, computers, firesticks, Alexa) report any issues. It very well could be partially my ISP having intermittent issues, but the TV does not recover on its own when it happens. Even turning it off and back on doesn't work. To fix it, you have to unplug the TV (I generally wait 10 sec), plug it back in, then turn it back on. Works every time. I just don't get why I have to do all that to get it working again. This is not necessarily the fault of the TV, but I have found some apps like YouTube TV and Hulu don't work quite as well as they do across my other devices (including my fire sticks). They all simply work better than the TV's apps.
