I have a new car which I purchased 5 months ago. The leather seats were giving an awesome typical smell until recently when I noticed the smell started to fade out.I bought these and put one under the back seat and the effect was immediate. People coming into the car again started reacting to the smell and praising it as in the first couple of months I had the car.the smell lasts for about a month and with the quantity of pads you get in the package you have for months and months of fresh new leather car scent for a decent price.I tried others in the past which were much less effective and the smell was less close to the real thing.I definitely recommend these.EDITI came back to add a little disappointment: the package closure isn't as hermetic as it should be and so once you open it to take out the first pad, as hard as you try to lock it back in to keep the smell in for the remaining pads, it apparently flows out a bit and eventually you really sense after a while that the rest of the pads are much less powerful in their scent.I would strongly suggest you find a way to lock them into a hermetic box so as to keep in the leather aroma as strong as initially.Still I would buy these again just keep them more properly next time around.I do hope the manufacturer finds a better closure solution in the future either by individually wrapping each pad or by changing the closure mechanism of the overall package for proper reusability.

These packets came in my car when I purchased it from the dealership. Months later and the scent was just starting to fade. The trick is to turn them over when the smell starts to fade. They'll last a little longer that way. It wasn't until about eight or nine months later that gave in and purchased a bag of my own to replace them. That's a long time!!!The scent isn't cheap like those that you typically see hanging from rear view mirrors. It's pleasant and I've always received compliments from passengers about how nice the car smells.If you're constantly transporting passengers it'll be an even greater buy because it overpowers unpleasant smells that may accompany them without being suffocating. I've been grateful on several occasions for that!

they smell good but I wouldn't buy again,,,the smell doesn't last that long

When I bought a car last summer it had a scent in it that I thought would go away, but it never did. Originally I assumed the dealer sprayed something in the car, but not long ago I found the scent pad under my front seat. Nearly 9 months after I bought the car and this thing still has a scent that now fills my garage. I wanted to find a different scent of a similar type of product and came across these. They looked identical to what was in my car, so I tried them. I put 2 pads under the seats of my car. Initially they smelled really nice. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later and I can barely smell them. My car is garaged almost 24x7, so they can’t blame the Sun and heat for the quick degradation. I wish the one that came with my car had a brand on it, as it is much better than these. I would save my money and look for a product that lasts longer than 3 weeks. Definitely NOT worth the money.

The smell is great but doesn't last long at all. Smell only last a few minutes boldly then very faint a couple hours.

Good value, great subtle scent not overwhelming. Works well in car also coat closet.

I bought a car from a dealership and loved the fresh scent of the car. After testing couple of other air fresheners, I went back and looked at the pictures that the dealership had posted. I noticed these pads in the air vents. So I used Google lens on it and voila...fresh n clean it is. the scent is really nice and pretty strong though as such I had to put it in the glove box. the first pad has lasted for a month and I think still good for another two months.

In April, I purchased a car from a dealership that had these scent pads inside and they are still effective 4 months later. Sadly, purchased some on my own and I can barely smell them fresh out of the package.
