Small issues but nothing major
Nice comb. I bought it because it does not acquire static electricity and is believed to promote healthier hair. It did have a minor animal smell when arrived, but I did not find it offensive at all. I do not recommend combing your hair when it it wet. The comb will absorb moisture when exposed to it and will give off a stronger smell. Same happens if you wash it in hot water, as I did, it will smell until it dries out. Better wash it in cold water with shampoo and let it completely dry before the first use.The tooth on the far end of my comb is slightly misaligned and the comb has a minor curvature to it i.e. it is not perfectly flat, which is probably due to the shape of the horn. However, neither issue gets in the way of combing hair and all teeth are finely polished.I've read about the brittleness of these combs and bought a small fabric pouch for it. So far, no problems. Would have given it five stars all the teeth were perfectly aligned.

Definitely gorgeous, but not ideal for long, fine hair (particularly when hair is wet)
This comb is beautiful, as advertised. It is also fairly ergonomic, with a shape and weight that feel good to use, however, I would not recommend this product to someone with long, fine hair who wants a comb they can use daily, wet or dry. I have two reasons for saying this. First, I would prefer a smoother finished edge between the teeth of the comb. The edge is rough on my long hair, so this can't be my daily-use comb. Second, and perhaps the least pleasant thing about it, the comb smells like, well, wet horn when it is wet. Obviously, but I hadn't thought about this before purchasing. Having spent time around horses and cows, I know that wet hoof and horn aren't the most pleasant odors. I will absolutely not be using this comb again when my hair is wet.In summary, this is a beautiful, dramatic-looking product, but carefully consider how you plan to use it. If you have short hair and don't frequently comb it wet, this might be the comb for you. If you have long, fine hair that you comb daily, wet or dry, you may prefer a fine sandalwood comb, as I now do.

it is a perfect tool.
On the day that I received the comb I began the combing therapy for my circulation. I don't know how to measure that but my hair after one day is as soft as baby hair and it is normally long and kinked. One problem, It lost two teeth already but for the price I cannot know whether that was my fault leaving it to fall. Without the teeth at the handle, the ones left have made a huge improvement. I usually have a comb full of hair. Not a single thread. But for the teeth falling out, it is a perfect tool.

nice comb, bit bigger than expected
I was surprised by the size, I had hoped to be able to keep it in my back pocket. But I still use it everyday. As far as combs go the shape works well with the curvature of your head. Runs through hair very smoothly and wont snag strands. The teeth don't scrape your scalp and it doesnt pick up all that much product if you use pomade or something to style your mop, which I definitely dump a bunch in mine every day.

HOLY CRAP! It's so different
Who knew there were different kinds of combs and that it actually mattered?!I've always used cheap black plastic combs, I bought this as part of my efforts to class up my world.HOLY CRAP! It's so different!I'm sure for a lot of women and men this is old news, but for me it was an eye opening moment at 35 years old.So heres why I dig it:Feels nice in the hand, good weight, feels like quality,Slides through my hair so easily it's like pulling a silk scarf over my head.Way easier to clean product out of then the cheap plastic combs.Looks fantastic sitting out in the bathroom, don't feel like I need to usher it into a drawer.

It is a comb made from a horn, time to man up.
This magnificent work of art, craftmanship and sorcery did the one thing that no other could do. Nay, no other could dream of doing. This tool of awesome tamed the wild beast that is my facial hair. Seriously, you have a bad ass beard, then get a bad ass comb, get this comb. My man mane flows through the teeth with zero snags, breaks or plucked wiskers. I have used combs, brushes, you name it and every thing tugged like a curious 1 year old (which is the worst if you haven't yet experienced this). My beard actually looks thicker after a few strokes and stays in place for hours. Quit acting like a little bitch and get the comb.

It's not a bad comb, just a little larger than the picture ...
It's not a bad comb, just a little larger than the picture after made it look. I was looking for something a bit smaller that would fit in m pocket better. Also, just one day's use it had broke two of the teeth. Now I have two large gaps in the comb. Like I said, not a bad comb but definitely not a great comb either.

The comb looks like the picture
The comb looks like the picture, and comes smooth and good looking. However after using it for two weeks, two teeth broke when I was using it. Dirt from hair also builds up between teeth, but can be quiet easily cleared.Overall I think it's a good product for this price.
