Works says, described extremely loud and very easy to hook up
This ringer is extremely loud and very easy to hook up

This is the biggest piece of junk, it looked like a 5 year old tried to assemble it.
The Ringer Amplifier's plastic case was all out of wack so the little circuit board with the switch on it was not in place.Then after closer inspection I saw that the contacts in the jacks were all bent out of shape to the point of if I plugged in a phone line they would have either shorted out or not made contact at all, which is probably why some people said it didn't work and another said it screwed up there internet which was probably DSL.So being as how the case was already apart I ended up removing the jacks and hard wired it to our phone line, put the case back together so the circuit board with the switch was in place, mounted it to the wall and it actually works great.For what it cost had it not worked I would of trashed it and bought a differant one.If you have no technical skills don't buy this product...

Is very loud ring
It is very loud which is why we purchased it but for some reason while it is hooked up our internet does not work

great phone assist for hard-of-hearing
This is a fine item. but I've got to subtract marks because there was no connector phone cord included. Fortunately, I've got electrical stuff as that here and was able to hook it up right away But those who don't will have to purchase a phone connector to get from the wall plug to the unit. The volume control is as loud as a fire station gong in either position. Too loud for me. So, I had to wrap a few windings of insulator over the 'annunciator' to mute it. The bell can't be shut off, so it will disappoint those who buy it as a silent light call indicator. If you have the savvy to make these modifications, it gets full marks.

Very loud and works well.
We have this in a warehouse. We had a spare analog to voip adapter so this was a much more cost affective solution to use on our voip door bell in our warehouse. It was very easy to set up and it is really loud. Also since it is like a phone it does not need external power.
