I brought this because I was starting to experience pain in my hips, that was only relieved by heat. I thought it might feel heavy to wear, but it doesn't, so you can easily carry out tasks whilst wearing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because it doesn't stay warm for long enough. But you can just put it back in the MW again once cooled.

I bought for my ongoing back problem. The heat level it can provide is very good (variable!) and lasts at least as well as a smaller pad we have. It is bigger and therefore heavier which might be a problem for smaller people but it sits well on my lower back with good coverage and good fixings. Together with NSAIDs it is helping my back recover.

Due to the size this item is awkward to microwave particularly if you have a slightly smaller microwave. I like the strap which makes it easy to wrap around so you can still move around easily when wearing it
