For what I paid, this is a wonderful pin to have on hand for patriotic holidays. It is much bigger than expected, about 1.25" across, but it turns out better that way. The craftmanship is unremarkable, but its got a little style and sparkle, much better than anything you'd find in a dime store. A bit feminine, and you can turn the pinned star any way you like on your shirt, to stylize the presentation.

I love it. Its a mini of what Nancy Polosi wears on her lapel. Well worth the price and not spending $35.00 for a symbol of our country. I will wear with pride and the sparkle with rhinestones on the flag.
