Miracle-Gro2 x Shady Lawn Seed 420g - 14m2

Sowed seed in very shady area under large tree which sucks moisture. Grass has grown quickly in October with plenty of watering. Hopefully holds during the summer months

A quality product delivered promptly.

Used this under trees on a prepared seed bed, good germination rate but needs to be sown much thicker than advised to get a solid coverage. Will now wait to see if it can withstand the autumn leaf drop and the winter moss takeover.

TOO EARLY TO TELL IF IT WILL CONTINUE TO GROW IN SHADE

My garden gets the sun first thing and loses it about 4pm. It has a lot of shady areas and the shady seed is just amazing! It’s so green and grows twice as fast as the rest of the lawn. 100% recommend.

So followed instructions and raked the area etc - paid money basically for nothing - it never grew and now some months later is birdseed

Lovely grass seed. Took a while to get going, but looks and feels alot better quality than the quick growing seeds i bought at the range to patch in a few other areas. Seems to be thriving in our shaded area of the garden and is really thick and deep green

I have a 5ft wide strip of soil that is in shade most of the day. I’ve sowed grass seeds there multiple times without success. I tried this a couple of weeks ago and am so pleased with the amount of new grass coverage - it’s looks fab already and it’s only just begun growing!!
