Fantastic product. Worked exactly as advertised. Clear details on the website. Passes through 100w power. Data and 1gb Ethernet just by plugging it in. Truly plug and play.The device does take 8w of power as mentioned on the website so for example a 97w power supply would take 8 for the hub and pass 89w onto the laptop. Bare that in mind if your laptop needs an exact amount of power. The 87w charger for my MacBook Pro passes through 79w (confirmed in system pretences) and seems to work fine.No issues after running it for a few weeks. Great product. Have attached pics so you can see how I have to set up. The lead built into the device is pretty short so used a USBC extender cable that supports 100w and data. Everything works great and my desktop is very neat.Buying USBC products is like the Wild West. Some pass through power. Some don’t. Some only have certain amounts of power. Some don’t carry data fast enough. Some need weird third party drivers you have to track down. It’s a nightmare. Belkin is a reputable brand I trust. Their products are often a little more than the average price but you get what you pay for. This is no exception.

I really only needed it to output to an old 1920x1200 monitor via VGA.However when I directly plugged the old screens VGA cable into the hub it wouldn't recognise the full 1920x1200 resolution. I had an old HDMI to VGA converter, and when I plugged that into the hubs HDMI port I got the full 1920x1200 resolution. But I had previous problems with a Windows machine and Dell docking station against that monitor, so I can't quite fault this hub for that directly.So, video output works, I've just plugged in a wireless mouse dongle into the USB port.Haven't tried the ethernet port yet as I'm already using an Alogic usb-c hub which an ethernet port.Just using hdmi out and the usb wireless mouse dongle the hub is mildly warm to the touch, nothing concerning. But I've no need to transfer TB's of data across the usb and have not stress tested the hub to any degree. It just works for my limited use case so far when a cheaper hub ( under £20 failed to allow the Macbook pro to even boot the Big Sur 11.6 O/S while I was plugged in )

Not clear from the product description is that you can not use hdmi port and vga port at the same. It is only one display or the other . This information is buried in the FAQ on manufacturer site but is not detailed on Amazon site

Useless. Wrong sized connector so returned as it could not plug into my i-pad - although advertised for use with it .
