Q: Is this a roomy basket and are the notions of good quality? This is for my granddaughter and I don't want to get her something cheap.

I bought this for my sister who has recently decided to take up sewing. She said she loved it (she is 58) so I really don't know anything about the size or quality but I figure it would be a great starter kit.

Q: can i buy just the removable tray

I don't think so. It came as a whole set. Maybe the seller can sell you just the tray. I'd directly message the seller.

Q: What is the size in inches?

The dimensions are 11 by 8 inches in depth and big enough for what my needs are. Makes a wonderful gift.
