A Solid Accessory for GMs
Been using these for the past few weeks for a game I am running and they have been interesting to use. They can help take NPCs into directions that, at least I, hadn't thought of. I've built/ fleshed out a few NPCs now using these and really like the randomness of the cards (as well as the artwork on them). Usable with just about any RPG and very happy I took the chance and got them.

This is an awesome product for a GM who is having some 'writers block' when it comes to needing NPC names and motivations. I use it for Numenera, but it is system agnostic.

Nice set of cards to pick NPC traits from. Go whole hog or just choose a few - the cards can handle it.

give NPCs a unique personality, job and secrets / +++ recommended
Already the idea of expanding NPCs, which are usually either important for the story or adversaries, but also common merchants, peasants, librarians ... felt very welcome to me, as so often when a "non critical" NPC is meeting the players, his motivations, fears, personality are just the random "merchant" or "peasant" and the RP part is awkward.Now with these you'll have 7 categories (8th is names) to give goals, secrets, quirks, relationships with the PCs ... to have NPCs you can enjot playing.And the art ... damn, it's very emotional, characters don't have a precise face, but the whole picture has a real mood that can also be interpreted for the best.+++ recommended.

Outstanding work on these. Great art, well thought out, easy to read. Great for helping flesh out npcs or for helping players flesh out a background for any rpg. You get a lot of cards for your money and they cover everything from relationship to players, physical traits, naming, secrets, goals, personalities, and more.
