Haven't used yet was afraid to when i noticed slight gap ive crimped down on circular end with needle nose if u use braid like me the thin diameter line will slip right through idk not taken any chances lol easy fix though i tested with a dental floss pick gtg several months later an several fish later lol these quick snaps are awesome an ther light weight which is good when using on suspending jerkbaits if yuh know what I mean but line hasn't slipped through gap landed many many giant small mouth it's nice when ur tryn to dial in on the right color an u have to switch baits slot till u find the one that gets it done that day

I tested the amount of weight it would take to make the clip fail. (opening up and allowing the lure fall off) I got the weight up to about 18 pounds before failure . For the type of fishing I do, that will work.

Like that they are very easy to attach to the fishing line and like that I don't have to wreck my thumb nail pushing the clip to open it to change lures. I do think that the top round part should be completely closed, there's a gap that the line could possibly slip through.

Ok..lost my megabass jerkbait on this clip today...😪 used it over a dozen times and great for switching out different baits albeit its small and if you got big hands forget about it..have to use a pliers to hold i to clip the bait...sorry got carried away. So cast it and felt my line went loose thought at first I broke my 10 pound mono..nope the line came off the clip. Now I have 99 more of these clips..that I will never use again and loose an expensive bait...I could string it all together and make a necklace ..but it will probably come loose .😅

Not welded or joined eye so leader under #50 gets pinched in the gap and damaged, on the other end bend is too sudden (right angle) so some eyes find it hard to get past it, space for the lure ring (if it’s double coil) is too tight so lure don’t behave as it should BUT good quality material, strong, rust resistant and inexpensive to the fault

Just tried this product... Works fantastic, great for quick change crankbaits, spinners, jerkbaits. Stong and durable...

This worked perfectly for my application. I bent out the end, creating a small hook. I used this now to attach to my WWI plane, to support the rigging I bade for the plane. Turnbuckles are way too expensive, so using this, and a spring I found on Amazon, attached to some other fish tackle I found, the whole thing worked out perfectly. I will use these again.

My biggest gripe with this is that the eye of the loop has a rather big gap. I can and have had the line come off at that weak point. I have tried to use pliers to squeeze the closer but still a gap

A very simple clip but makes all the difference in my opinion. This clip helps me change lures quickly and with the reliability I won't be let down by poor hardware. I've caught fish up to 5lb with this clip but it can certainly take a hell of a lot more!

Not happy as all the eyes were open. Was going to return them but needed them so squeezed the eyes closed myself.

Used for the quick changing of weights and lures
