The OutNowTech TITAN Monocular is a high-powered optical instrument yet is compact and lightweight, designed to be easy to carry yet robust enough for the trail. Not intended as a toy, yet easy enough for a child to use, with its single easy-focus eyepiece adjustment (no redundant dual-focus mechanism). Would make a great gift! The large objective lens means the TITAN gathers light better than a small objective, which extends the viewing capability into morning and evening low-light situations. Don’t be fooled into thinking that a purely optical instrument can give you night vision, for that you need an electronic light-amplifying device costing many times more. The high power 16x magnification gives a greatly improved view of distant objects, while still enabling use without excessive shaking – the higher the magnification the more difficult it becomes to hold the telescope steady, since any movement is magnified in the view. The outer casing of the TITAN is a tough rubber armor that can withstand knocks, and at the same time provides an anti-slip grip surface for secure hand operation. Focus is done simply by twisting the eyepiece – a simple single adjustment. The eyepiece also incorporates a fold-down eyecup which may make it more useful for spectacle wearers; with an eye relief distance of 10mm the TITAN is not designed specifically for use with spectacles but it may suit some spectacle wearers. I bought this to take to sporting events namely track meets and it is very lightweight and portable has great magnification now that track is over I've been using it to look at birds in the backyard most recently a family of Scarlet Tanagers. Excellent highly recommend.

Great product for hiking pleasure!
Arrived in 2 days, seems to be if good quality, easily adjusts for clear viewing (w/ glasses better viewing w/ them on w/ flap bent over),fits nicely in my pockets or might add a carabiner to hook it on my pants loop. Lightweight & practical for enjoyable hiking. Binoculars were bulky, heavy and complicated to adjust - but not these. Love bright color - easy to see. Great company followup! No wonder high product ratings.

Perfect for vacations or bird watching
I bought this for a trip to Alaska. It is incredibly lightweight and powerful. Normally I would take binoculars, but I dislike their weight and having to carry them. This is like having a short telescope with a wide range of view. It comes with nylon carrying case and cleaning cloth. Because it is rubberized plastic, I had no issues using this in the rain. This is perfect for traveling and for bird watching

Clear choice
Surprised by how clear the view was. Not only in the daytime but I was really surprised looking up at the sky at night and seeing way more stars. Very nice item.

I am not a bird watcher, although I can see how this monocular would be very handy for that. I use when driving to see ahead for street signs, etc. My passenger uses it.

This magnifies more than I thought it would, It takes a little practice to find your target because the field of vision is so narrow, but easy to use and gives you a great view.

It's garbage.
This is probably the worst eyepiece I've ever looked through. Says 16x magnification, nope. The focus is junk. The unit is junk junk junk. Don't buy this garbage.
