Salomon Women's Speedcross 4 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes

Perfect! Right out of the package they fit as expected. These are my first pair and I expect some growing pains as my feet adjust to the shoes, but so far I love them. I do have arthritis in my feet so I’m curious as to how the shoes will support. So with that said, so far so good. Delivery, size, fit, looks, comfort (so far), all 5 out of 5 stars... will update as I continue to use the shoes...A 10K, a 5K and a half marathon later, I can say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes. For trail running and mud runs these shoes have been the best. I didn’t slip at all and the grip is amazing on the tread. Even with caked mud I was still able to continue with plenty of grip. And running/wading through water, they drained easily didn’t hold in any water. I was absolutely amazed. For shorter distances I like this shoe fitted. However for longer races like the half marathon trial run I think I may invest in a size larger. Just to lesson the impact on my toes on the down hills, the shoe fits on the narrow side and I feel my toes need the space after a long race.... would recommend, and I will definitely buy again... I wouldn’t recommend for wearing for everyday use/ exercise... simply because the pavement will wear down the tread, and the tread on pavement is kinda bothersome on pressure points on the feet...

This is my second pair of these. My first pair I had for 4 years. The only reason I had to get a new pair is because I accidentally left them outside when it was snowing. The lug like spikes on the bottom didn't wear out for me like they did the other reviewer. Perhaps she was wearing them on the flat concrete or blacktop too much. These are really amazing on the trail and even the snow. My feet are always dry and warm. The shoe does feel a little stiff but that is so they can withstand anything but I still feel comfortable running in them. They may be too narrow for some people. I probably have average width feet. This time around I got the Beet Red/Potent Purple/Citronelle color. I was worried they were going to be too bright but they are actually a smidge darker in person and are a beautiful cranberry color. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9 and I got the 8.5. These will always be my go to trail shoe forever!

Good fit, true to size with enough room for foot swelling throughout the day. Perfect for a trail hike. The blue is a little more sea foam green, but still pretty. They will likely be covered in dirt soon anyhow.Great traction and comfortable on their first mile “test walk” of trails. This is a high quality shoe that I’m sure we will get more of. We own his and hers for me and my husband and have looked at many other brands that just don’t compare to the quality and comfort.

So at first I didn’t think these were going to work for me. They didn’t feel like they were going to support my ankles and felt like I was wearing cleats. But after spending some time hiking and running in this very wet weather we have been having I am in love with them. They do fit like a glove, true to size. I wear 9s in most sneakers and this in a 9 works great. My feet never feel sore after long hikes/runs and I have not had any blisters. They have been completely submerged in mud and water while running and as long as the amwater doesn’t go over tip of the shoe and down in my feet are completely dry inside the shoe. I am very happy with these and they are pretty sharp looking to.

I like the shoe overall however I wish the tongue wasn’t as long as it is and that the toe didn’t curve upward quite so much. Functionality is good and quality is good. Love the waterproof aspect.

I referee youth soccer games and nearly every Saturday I would have to pack 2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of socks - my cleats to wear in the morning when the dew has the grass soaking wet, and my "golf shoes" (Amazon product B074ZHK32P) for when the grass has dried by late morning and I no longer want to run around in wet feet for the rest of the day. I've longed for a pair of waterproof cleats to rectify this problem for years, but alas no such product exists (at least that I could find in women's sizes). One of the other refs recommended trail running shoes and so I bought these - they were a LIFE CHANGER!! I hated the style of laces, not trusting them to remain tight during my games, so I cut them out and relaced the shoes using regular shoelaces (note: you'll need a lot of patience and a very small flathead screwdriver to make the holes bigger). These shoes hold up to running 17 miles on frost- and dew-covered soccer fields for 10 hours with NO wet feet!!!

Saw these shoes at REI for way more than I was willing to spend. Once I bought them on amazon I only wore them 3x before doing the Marquette Ultra marathon. They seemed more durable and sturdy than the Hokas. They were perfectfor me! Great tread, durable, and flexible when running. I have a narrow foot so I had plenty of room in the toe box. The easy lace up was a good feature, but I noticed when tightly strung they would slightly loosen up over time. Beyond wearing good socks during the race I had no blisters or issues with my feet related to the shoes.

These bought for my wife, who tells me they are lightweight, well made with good quality materials and provide excellent grip and support. She also tells me that the fit is fine, if a little tight but she expects this will improve as she uses them more.

Omg...I absolutely love my New Speedcross 4!! I have had Speedcross 3 for the last 5-6 years. Maybe even longer. They last like nothing I’ve ever seen. (Wore soles down to sponge). These shoes are the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend them if you are picky about support & comfort. I love the slim fit. Almost feel like a custom made shoe. I’m a very happy customer!!
