Cheap plastic crap, doesn’t securely hold my mic, is too long for my standard size mic.

This product is solid and seems well made. I'm very pleased!

So, like other reviewers have said, it was too big for their mic and slid right thru. Mine has much of the same problem as well as the fact that I lost the hex nut *immediately* upon taking it out of its package. I had to get custom hardware (a screw, washer, and hex nut of my own) to fix it, and it now works better. I noticed the original screw/knob was machined too short...which it explains why it fell apart immediately.Also, I had to modify my microphone (Azden SMX-10) with Velcro straps for my flex-o-arm in order to get it to stay.It did the job, but it's definitely *not* worth the hassle.My recommendation? Go to your local camera shop instead. Make sure you actually *see* and *feel* your mic holder before getting one on Amazon.Another end note:I now just use a screwdriver 🪛 to tighten the hardware rather than a turn-knob

Iit dors not lock properly keeps tiltin’ foward with the weight of the mic.

Not sure how big other shotgun mics are but my Synco mic D2 slid right through

Very nice, holds mic firmly. Unlike in the item description picture, came with only 2 spare rubber bands, not 4.

It does the job. You won’t expect something else from it.

Yeah, that's not hyperbole: this thing is pure, flimsy garbage. It ships (from the manufacturer) in a plastic bag - this combined with the super thin, brittle plastic material the shock mount is made out of virtually guarantees this thing will arrive broken. And when it does arrive broken please don't blame your overworked amazon delivery person - this is squarely on yet another manufacturer who couldn't care less about quality of anything.Please avoid this piece of junk shock mount.

Entgegen der Angaben in der Produktinformation, funktioniert der Halter nur bei sehr leichten Richtrohr-Mikrofonen, zum Beispiel Rode NTG5, nicht aber bei schweren/robusten Mikrofonen zum Beispiel aus der Sennheiser Serie, wie das MKH 416. Die schwereren hängen unkontrolliert in der Halterung und lassen sich in der Ausrichtung kaum kontrollieren. Grundsätzlich ist eine Halterung nur in waagrechter Richtung möglich. In senkrechter Richtung rutschen die Mikrofone aus der Halterung, unabhängig davon, wie ich die Haltegummis anordne.
