We’ll see how it holds up but very good fit, Velcro straps a bit of a pain but work well. Fabric feels light ( be sure to check wind direction when installing on windy days) but we’ve had some monsoons this year and the jeep stays dry.

I use these Basic Guard covers for protecting my cars parked outdoors during mild weather. They protect from dust, light rain & dew, water spotting, bird droppings, accidental scratching and UV deterioration. They are not really designed for continuous UV exposure and will last only about three months with full summer sun exposure. During the winter months and times of heavy rain and wind I use these covers underneath a fully water proof cover to provide additional breathing and reduce paint abrasion from wind flapping of the outer cover. These also make great indoor covers to protect your car in the garage.

1. You must cut a hole in the cover for the fixed aerial antenna, but they provide a reinforcement to keep the hole from ripping. HOWEVER, the adhesive on the reinforcement doesn't work at all. It'll fall off after a few days. I hand-sewed the reinforcement on, and that works perfectly, though it's slightly more trouble to do.2. My truck has a satellite "sail" antenna on the roof. This will eventually wear through the fabric. To fight that, I took the storage bag (which I never use) and cut a 12" x 12" piece to reinforce the area of the sail antenna. This needs to be hand-sewn as well (the first time I tried using spray adhesive, but I think this caused premature aging of the material, and it ripped anyway after about 12 months.)3. This is my Third cover; the first one was the 3-ply, and I was not impressed. It lasted about six months, but I will say the company stood by their warranty, and after I sent them a photograph of the sail antenna rip, they gladly sent me a replacement at no cost. Even this 5-ply will become somewhat brittle/dry and subject to tear after a year in the Tennessee sun, but for the price it's cheaper than building a garage, very soft, and doesn't scratch the paint.4. The cover is not water-PROOF. Water will come through; the vehicle will get wet. For that reason, I wouldn't leave the cover on indefinitely (like, for weeks at a time.) It's great for keeping off bird droppings, leaves, most dust, bradford pear seeds and most other small debris, and of course is a great shield against UV and heat damage.

Preface: this is the first car cover I have ever purchased and I purchased a cover that Amazon indicated would fit my car.Car: 2015 Ecoboost Mustang with the Performance Package .I literally just opened this cover and put it on my car 15 minutes ago because it's going to snow tomorrow. So these are my initial thoughts... I bought this cover because I live in Northern, NJ and wanted to protect my car from the snow. This car cover, covers my Mustang like a 6 foot blanket covers a 6 foot person. Your toes are either peaking out or the blanket doesn't come up past your shoulders far enough for perfect coverage. In other words, the bottom few inches of my rims/tires are not covered and the bottom couple of inches of the middle part of my rear and front bumper aren't covered. Rather then the elastic hem going past the length of my car and sucking in underneath the front/rear bumpers, it sucks in right on the apex of the bumpers. The cover covers the side panels of my car perfectly. But as I said, it doesn't reach all the way down to the bottom of my tires. Two things to note, 1. I didn't say my car has the Performance Package to be all macho. I said it because the performance package for the mustang comes with a skirt that extends the dimensions of the car on all sides by a couple inches. This may have made the difference between fitting perfectly or not. 2. I read a lot of reviews before buying this cover. Many people said to buy the next size up from what the cover says it fits. However, I figured that because my car is lower to the ground then a typical car and because my car is 188" long when the cover says it covers up to 200" long cars that I'd be OK. Clearly, I should have listened to the internet **face palm**. LISTEN TO THE INTERNET PEOPLE. All in all, I give coverage about a 8.8 out of 10 as it fits very snug and nearly perfectly but not quite. And regardless of the price of the cover, I expect the sizing to be accurate. (I did fold my side view mirrors in before putting my cover on, therefore my comments on fit reflect this)As far as quality goes, I can't say it felt like the highest quality. My initial thoughts were that it was somewhat thin and it didn't instill a sense of high quality when holding it in my hand. This isn't a $100 cover so you obviously can't expect to be blown away by the quality but I was left desiring more. Again, this is the first cover I have purchased so I have nothing to compare it to. It may very well be that its the perfect weight and texture. I will update this post after it snows tomorrow for how it holds up.Putting it on the car wasn't too difficult. Probably would have been easier with a second person. It does have grommet holes but doesn't include a cable/strap. It does include a buckle like you would see on a backpack, but I'm not really sure what that's for... I'm going to have to look into it. One feature that I thought was nice is that it includes a strap at the trunk end to feed into your trunk so that should the cover somehow come off the car, it won't fly away as it will be secured by the trunk.Because of the lack of perfect fit, and seemingly mediocre quality, 3 out 5. This cover is great! It fits my 2012 Hyundai Accent perfectly. The elastic edge fits so well I don't even need to use the included corner straps that come attached to it. The under car strap that connects the two sides together is plenty long enough to throw under the car to the other side and connect with the included clip. I was quite impressed to see an added pocket for the strap to be stored in when rolling up the cover while removing from the car. The price was really low for how good this cover is. Highly recommended!

Initially I thought this to be a decent bargain truck cover for my 1991 K1500. It fit well and was easy to install. But, after only two uses (on and off twice), I noticed a rip in one of the seams. I'm not sure if it was there initially or if it developed while taking the cover on/off. Either way, I'm 4 days out of the return window for amazon so there's that.
