Rubie's Costume Co Gentlemans Black Human Hair Goatee Chin Beard One Size, Multicolor 2022

Every year for Halloween I get dressed up as a guy (I'm a very girly girl, otherwise!) This human hair goatee was perfect! I secured it on my chin with a LOT of eyelash adhesive and it stayed put pretty well through my friend's entire Halloween party. This is the 3rd year I've done this and the first year, many of my friends didn't know that it was me when I arrived at the party. My best friend introduced me as her new friend, "Paul" and several friends shook my hand and said it was nice to meet me! They were all VERY shocked when I revealed my identity later in the night!If you're looking for a very realistic human hair goatee, this is perfect. The lace is soft and slightly stretchy so it conforms nicely to the face. If you use a liquid adhesive like eyelash glue, BE VERY CAREFUL that it doesn't seep through into the hair at all. It will totally gum up the hair. You need to gently brush a very thin coat on the back on the lace mesh and a thin coat on your skin. Wait until it's almost dry and then adhere the goatee to your skin. You should have a good bond. TO remove, just gently pull it off. You could probably get a second use out of it if you take care of it.This item was delivered on time with no issue. I'm happy and would order from this vendor again.

The beard if phenomenal but it comes with no adhesives which was super inconvenient when I was doing a costume last moment. Very realistic if you have lash glue or something get it but I didn’t know it didn’t come with adhesive

I didn't hate his little guy!I've never used a lace beard before, but I definitely wasn't mad at the time it saved me! Ha. I'm sorry the picture I attached wasn't really close up, but I used Pros aide glue to stick it to sweaty actors who had to fight and it never fell off them.I did have to brush, trim and style them (I bought two) when I took them out of the package and they smelled like a new wig would (think new tires). But after doing a little bit of work, they looked pretty natural.Totally passes as a "real" stage beard, and I think if I messed with it a bit more it could potentially pass up close! The lace is real thin, so it doesn't really show unless you stare...and that's rude, so don't do that.Spark Notes version :Get this guy if you need a theatre beard! Don't get this guy if you have no intentions of making it look real, but wanna wear it to your cousin's wedding..

Not very good quality and got gunked up by my adhesive which has come off easily on other hair (fake and real). After a couple times wearing this, the hair looked like pubes so I threw it out.

For our play production, the beard itself held up beautifully to 7 uses, between rehearsal and performances, but the spirit gum they include with this cannot be depended on. You will need to find a better adhesive and adhesive remover. Order it right away, we had a last minute surprise, beard will not stay on, too late to order it.

The quality of this beard is good. However, this listing says it's the color Black. I ordered three and received two Medium Brown beards and one Light Brown beard. It's funny, because medium brown is actually the color I wanted, but couldn't find listed anywhere and was just hoping the black would work for me. But I can't use the light brown, and while it was a happy accident for me, I'm sure anyone who orders this wanting the black color will be pretty disappointed.

This is a great product. I purchased it for my bearded lady costume last halloween. I have a relatively small chin/face and it fit me fine. I used cheap spirit gum from a costume store to apply it, and it held great. I was able to laugh, talk and drink with it just fine. I accompanied it with loose fake hair to make sideburns, and they matched very closely, both being a basic brownish/black. I would say it's theatrical quality. Everyone said my beard looked great and was very realistic. Great product at a great price.

It does not come with any glue or tacky backing but not say so in the description. Must be bought separately. Hairs are like wire and fall apart very easy.
