A free sample was provided for an independent evaluation. I love this product as I use lip gloss almost exclusively and am always looking for a high shine. The packaging is beautiful, in my favourite shade of turquoise, and the applicator wand has a little slant on one side, which makes it very easy to use. The directions say to apply this three times a day, which I have done for a total of seven weeks, but I have to say that the plumping is minimal and short-lived. The peppermint essential oil makes my lips tingle nicely, but not enough to irritate them, and that's a good thing because that's not what I look for in skin care.I should mention that I have never found a lip plumping product that actually worked for me. The only exception is Lips by Simon & Tom, a sister brand to Belle Azul, a lip balm which returned my mouth to something approximating the volume it had in my forties. Having tried quite a few, I don't believe that a beauty product can increase the size of my lips and the ones that cause temporary swelling due to irritation are not something I would want to use. I can produce that effect by simply adding a drop of Cinnamon essential oil to any lip gloss!So this product works beautifully as a lip moisturiser and, visually, it gives a lovely shiny look. Long-term it has made my lips very smooth and at this price point, I'm happy to buy it again as a lip gloss as I can easily customize the colour by adding a little pencil.

I don't notice too much in the way of softening or soothing my lips. There is an unpleasant burning sensation from this - not just tingling, but burning.. I don't think I will purchase this product again.

It does make your lips look fuller but it was burning a bit. If you have sensitive skin like me it does feel a bit uncomfortable.

I really like this however; I was expecting it to last a lot longer than it has.

On the positive, the wand is very elegant and easy to use.On the negative, the product wears off quickly and leaves my lips feeling dry. The product chamber is very small compared to the wand, so I expect this will be used up quickly and I will not purchase another.

This product goes on smoothly but burns for about 10 minutes, which I expected. It brings out a natural color but only lasts for about an hour or 2.

I've haven't used a lip plumper for years but I always remembered them to sting quite uncomfortably. I LOVE this one, the stinging is super soft, the effect is very natural and flattering. I started using it daily and my lips are really soft. It goes okay over lipstick but of course makes it shorter lasting.Love it and will buy again!

Would be no stars if it could....Sad to say after reading some good reviews I was had! Literally a waste of money. I have very small lips and it did not improve them one little bit! No plumping no moisturising. Literally just burns because of the ingredients, give you the hope of a result but nothing. The size is an absolute joke as well, I could not believe how small it was and very minimal product in the tube too. Not happy! Dont waste your money guys.

This stuff is great, quite tingly but not painful, I've used natural lip plumpers before that haven't worked as well. My top lip is scarred so misshapen and I think this makes it look much better shaped

I like this product. It has a surprising sting when you first put it on, but if you start thin and layer up it's not too bad. Made my lips plumper and a nice healthy colour. Will be buying again!
