Great purchase!
For the price, this product was great! I was so inspired by product review pictures, that I decided to leave my own so that someone else can be inspired. I built a fireplace and cut the ‘stones’ out individually. I glued them to the plywood with all purpose construction glue. I did the German Schmear method, but here’s a warning! The paint or color on the rocks will wash off with a washcloth and warm water scrubbing over the dried drywall compound. Thankfully, it blends in with the schmear appearance, but I would have applied the compound differently if I had known the paint would come off. Overall, this product was perfect for my desired outcome. You won’t regret the purchase! I plan to order again for more projects!

It took a ton of work....
This wall was all ME, not these cheap plastic panels. These are HIGHLY a rip off on their own. The color is hideous, they don't come with adhesive, they're cheap crackly plastic and these are EXTREMLY overpriced for what they are. What you see here is my own art, and about 10% these panels. If you want to put the work in they end up looking really cool, but I honestly won't credit the panels because for the price, it took other materials and my own artwork to make them work.1. Get them on the wall with good adhesive and whitewash the entire wall with a FLAT paint to remove the shiny fake plastic sheen and get rid of the gross beige pink color.2. Use drywall mud and over grout the entire thing. When it dries, sand it with rough sand paper and wipe down with a water saturated towel to make it look like stone.3. Seal with a FLAT/MATTE poly. This wall looks amazing and I've had so many compliments, but I feel the tiles are wayyyyyyyyyyy overpriced because they're just a base to do something else on. These would be beyond laughable and hideous on a wall on their own.

Happy.
Great product. Looks great on my mini wall. I used Lucite power grab adhesive and it worked great. Material is very easy to handle. Very happy.

Not good. Not worth the money.

Fireplace update
I used these panels to update my fireplace and copied all the other DIYs from the product reviews. I cut out individual pieces so that it didn’t have a repeat pattern. I used larger pieces to frame out the top of the fireplace. I used joint compound to over grout. After it dried, I sanded and used a wet sponge to finish it off. I will probably seal it. The stone looks real! I attached a before and after photo.

Super easy; beautiful outcome!
The media could not be loaded. These were very easy to apply and turned out beautifully. I saw negative reviews saying they are just a thin piece of plastic and not worth the money … but that’s essentially what allows essentially anyone to use these! No tools required, they are super easy to cut with scissors, and easy to apply. I used construction adhesive I got from Lowe’s (specifically ones that come in a squeeze tube and don’t require a caulk gun) and then once they were all up, I smeared everything with spackling to give it a white effect. I’ve always had different peel n stick wallpaper prints on this odd wall which is the first thing you see when you walk in my house, but this is much more sophisticated looking. I’m very pleaser with the outcome and would definitely recommend these. And FYI, this wall required 3 boxes and I think I had around 4 sheets left over.

For my DIY people!!!
The media could not be loaded. I can’t believe how easy and amazing my DIY kitchen backsplash came out, I was looking to do a German smear and I have to say this faux rock backsplash was just what I was looking for, amazing quality and well packaged, not one was chipped/ damaged, super easy to connect and held up amazing with some adhesive, it’s been more then 6 months and holding up strong, it’s worth every penny, easy to cut to fit into any space needed, the feel is great too especially when you add the smear it almost feels like real brick and or rocks, if you want a little upgrade thats budget friendly a new backsplash will do wonders, I can’t say enough about it! Highly recommend
