it does have a limit to how much weight you can put on it to stop it. at certain angles it will happen with me, but i can lay down flat on the bed and put it under my shoulder or lower back and it will still work. (i weight 196) i can also sit down and put it under my middle tight and it will work too. directly under my butt with most of my weight on it is where i run into issue. it does not get hot more so luke warm. but even with all of that, this is still worth 5 stars. they have a great return policy which some do not so check out others return policy before buying it. and most importantly it has one flat ball and one ball that kneads. i didnt think this was huge until i got a zyllion and quickly discovered they (or at least the style i got) does not have a ball the kneads. this is huge for people like myself who need a deep massage. i get tough knots and need alot of pressure to get them out. yes i could put all my weight on the zyllion and it would still work but it wasnt able to dig deep with the balls. thats were this product outshined. it is great at digging deep and giving you a proper deep massage to work out knots. also ive been using mine alot and the fabric does start to wear out with heavy use. but i put a pillow case over it and havent noticed a difference.
