I absolutely love my swing! I know it isn't advertised as such, but these make very nice sensory therapy swings. I would highly recommend this swing for that purpose because it does give a nice hug feeling at a fraction of the cost. So far, everyone in the family has enjoyed it. It's very comfortable and sturdy. I also added pillows and a swivel to make it more comfy. Mine is hanging inside in my room, so no worries about weathering. I also used my own hanging hardware. So while I can't speak for the hook or strap that came with it, I can say that the swing itself can easily hold over 300 lbs. as advertised. I have no doubt that this swing will last for a long time. This is the second swing I've purchased. The other one was similar, but from a different company. In comparison, this swing was very easy to assemble and came with a nice instruction leaflet. The travel bag and inside pocket are very nice added features too. I'm considering purchasing again for a different part of the house. For those still trying to decide and weighing the reviews, I recommend getting a good heavy duty swivel and chain for hanging. It really makes a huge difference. I purchased a Seleware bearing swivel here off of Amazon that works stellar.UPDATE: We had one of the ropes on the side fray and break, despite indoor use. I contacted the company and they quickly sent us a replacement. Great customer service!!

I love this swing chair. Very durable, sturdy and comfy.

You can fit 2 adults in this chair and not even have to worry about the weight limits. It's great. Easy set up and take down. Going to buy a stand next so we can have a couple inside. Throw a couple pillows on it. It's great.

Purchased this item to replace an old tire swing, so already had a strap and chain to hang it on in place. It was so easy to pull it out and clip the support onto the existing chain. The chair feels sturdy and I enjoy sitting in there and relaxing while I watch my dog and son play in the yard. I’m fully confident it will last a long time. Excellent product.

The media could not be loaded.  This is nice. We built up hammock stands in the backyard and we wanted a traditional hammock and then a side with the seats. When this came in a small box I was wondering how they fit the pole in it.But that came in three parts and snapped together well. The rope is a tight tight fit around and they nobs keep it in place. Everything is in tact and it held me up no issues. I'm happy with the hammock chair. And they offer life warranty with it. So that's coolEdit update. So I had two one was wood pile one the metal, I personally like the metal more. It has a larger washer to prevent the ropes from slipping, where as the wood one doesn't and we had them slip out of place and fall. But this metal one with the washer is great. I plan on getting more to finish the pergola hammock seat.

Love this swing! Easy assemble, vibrant colors, very comfortable, just the right size for me and my 2 small dogs. Love the pocket for my phone!

I am pleasantly surprised by how easy this swing is to put together. I put it together by myself and under 5 minutes and hang it outside and my backyard, it has many adjustable height settings and I was able to be swinging and reading a book within 10 minutes and I could tell that I was well protected and in no danger at all of falling. I absolutely love spending time and my outdoor chair why my dogs play in the backyard. It's also extremely easy to remove and store in the shed.. I highly recommend purchasing the product!

Love the naps (folded legs) and the swinging. Bought last summer and we are near the beach so everything rusts even stainless. I should have brought in for winter but still used it and it is hard to take down (too high clip for me). So buying another with a wood bar and longer to stretch out legs! Great price on this one though.
