This story was my sun and storm, shining and shattering in the most beautifully broken way.
WOW!!! Here I still sit, utterly bereft, blown away from Full Tilt, a broken beauty of a book that quickly became my universe. Nothing I write will convey just how significant and soulful this love story is … one that is so worthy that I feel lucky to have had it touch every part of me: body, mind, and soul. I lost myself in Emma Scott’s Full Tilt, a fitting title for a tale that knocked me off my axis, spinning my emotions into orbit where I had to catch my breath again and again. I can’t stop breathing and feeling this heartbreakingly book. This story of two hearts colliding as one stars the strong, sweet and stunning singer and musician Kacey, and artist, Jonah, who is gorgeous inside and out with a heart of gold. Kacey’s life is orbiting out of control. Jonah’s life has to be about control. She splashes color into his gray world. He grounds her, slowing her down so she doesn’t spin out of orbit. Jonah and Kacey are the balm to each other’s hearts, destined soulmates, drawn together like a moth to a flame with a combustible connection, and powerful love that explodes everywhere. This hero and heroine are magical together. This story was my sun and storm, shining and shattering in the most beautifully broken way. Deep. Dynamic. Devastatingly beautiful. Threaded by time, and humming with rich metaphors, vivid detail, wondrous wit, and lasting love, Full Tilt makes you think. Makes you bask in the moment. Makes you appreciate the little things. Makes you feel everything.I can’t even begin to describe how momentous and meaningful this romance is … one that held my heart in its clutches the whole time reading while seeping into my soul. Full Tilt rendered me awestruck, a once in a lifetime romance I read with tears etched in my eyes, as it brought every emotion … every feel … everything. I’m still reeling and feeling so much. Like a butterfly, this shatteringly stunning story will always come back, staying for thousands of moments in this life and the next. There are not enough words or stars I can bestow on this beautiful, breathtaking and brilliantly told tale. Full Tilt is a unicorn love story … a life changer worth all drops in the ocean and all stars in the universe. Unique. Unequivocally emotional. Unforgettable.“You are a universe.”⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but worth a universe of stars

This book was amazing! It wrecked me. I cried so much reading this you would think I was living the lives of Jonah and Kacey. To find love when and where you least expect it under those circumstances and to live the last few months happy living life in the moment is the true meaning of happiness and love! Ready to read book 2!

OMG…I’m not crying…you’re crying!
I don’t write many reviews. This book put me at 1399 books read and by far is my top read.. I have to say this book gutted me. Emma pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put the book down. You felt how Jonah and Kasey fell so quickly. Kasey never felt love before and Jonah was scared to love. They saved each other. Emma did an amazing job…I never felt a lull in the book, it held me captive. I’m not sure I’m prepared to read book 2, but here I go!

This unforgettable love story is worth a million tears! FIVE EXTRAORDINARY STARS!
Once again, my eyes are full of tears as I review another book by Emma Scott, because her stories inevitably shred my emotions and touch my heart. Just when I thought nothing could surpass the perfection of Long Live the Beautiful Hearts, Full Tilt proved me wrong. OMG, THIS BOOK! Jonah and Kacey's unforgettable love story grabbed me from the very first page and never let go, easily becoming one of the best books I've ever read. Please don't miss this incredible reading experience, but keep a box of tissues nearby. I guarantee you'll need them!No lengthy plot summary from me this time; the blurb and numerous reviews are descriptive enough. But I can't pass up a chance to say how much I loved Jonah Fletcher, a true hero. His new heart may be failing, but his soul overflows with love as he rescues a troubled young rock star (Kacey Dawson) from a path of self-destruction. Traumatized by her father's cruel rejection, she's lost in an endless round of parties, booze and meaningless sex until Jonah opens his home and his heart to her, beginning a friendship that soon deepens into a profound and infinite love.Even as his health deteriorates, Jonah and Kacey find happiness in each other, sharing each precious moment remaining to them. Kacey tells him, "We might not have months or years, but we have moments. Thousands and thousands of them. Let's take each moment, seize it and wring it dry." And they do. Their intimate sex scenes are heart wrenching and beautiful, especially their tantric sex near the end. "Tears filled our eyes as our bodies rolled and slid, driving toward a bittersweet crescendo of pleasure. Tears for love. For loss. For the weeks he had, and the years he didn't. For the joy and laughter, the heartache and grief. For this lonely man and the lost woman he'd rescued. For us, and the rapidly approaching time in which there would be only me." (Yes, I cried too.)Jonah creates exquisite blown glass sculptures, and he's determined to leave a legacy--an installation of his work in the Wynn Galleria in Las Vegas. He hopes the exhibition will be attended by Dale Chihuly, a nationally famous glass sculptor. (I had the pleasure of viewing an exhibition of Chihuly's sculptures in Denver and gained an appreciation for this truly breathtaking art form. Thanks to Jonah's story, I now know much more about this creative process.)Jonah and Kacey's love will last forever, because ". . . the universe is a vast place, and the soul of a human being is infinite, even if the body is temporary." But Kacey is not the only person Jonah loves. He's close to his parents but even closer to his brother (Theo), a brooding, talented tattoo artist who dreams of opening a shop of his own despite his father's disapproval. Theo also harbors another desire--a secret love for Kacey Dawson. Must his love remain a secret forever? And will Kacey find a way to heal her broken heart? I'm about to find out in All In (Full Tilt #2).I especially want to commend the author for her research into the "complex intricacies of heart transplants and chronic rejection." These details made the story seem even more real (and heartbreaking). Full Tilt #1 easily rates five stars and my enthusiastic recommendation!

heartbreaking, Emotional, beautiful!
Oh my gosh! That was a beautifully heartbreaking read. My head hurts and so does my heart, eyes didn’t fair much better 🥹This is a story of finding love when you least expect it, but when you were in need of it the most, just never knew.Kacey and Jonah’s story is a rollercoaster of emotions, you know from the off where the story is going to end, and I lived in denial throughout! My heart bleeds for the pain and heartbreak and yet is full for the love shared.Emma has written an amazing story for these two, but with more to come, I have a feeling I know what Jonah asked of Teddy and think book two is going to be just as emotional.Bring on All In ❤️💔❤️

All the love in the universe for this book. ❤
WOW!!! A powerful, heart breaking but utterly beautiful story. I felt so many emotions whist I followed the journey of Jonah and Kacey. Two people who meet when both of them need saving for completing different reasons. Those reasons connects them in ways neither of them could've predicted. I absolutely loved how hard these two fell for each other, they loved with every part of their being and I truly believe that they were meant to find each other. All the love in the universe for Jonah, Kacey and their Full Tilt beautiful and unforgettable love story. I can't wait to dive into Theo's book, as much as I loved Jonah his brother owned my heart. I really hope his book goes the way I pray it does. Teddy deserves to have a love like Jonah and Kacey's, a special kind of love just for him.

Stunningly Beautifully Heartbreaking
This is one of the most heart rending books I’ve read in a very long time. It’s beautiful and hard to read at the same time. It’s the story of a guitarist in a rock band, on the verge of making it big, who is spiralling out of control.Kacey is 22, beautiful and talented, and a complete mess. She’s drinking too much, sleeping with men, whilst too drunk to choose carefully and then forgetting her own successes in a blur of alcohol. One night after a concert she gets completely out of control and trashes a green room. The bodyguard rescues her and dumps her in the back of the limo.Jonah is 26 and an artist, who works in glass. He’s got a massive gallery showing coming up in a few months and he’s working hard to stay on schedule. He works part time as a limo driver, but lives for his art. His life has become stale and static, safely contained in his ‘routine’. The drunk rockstar dumped in the back of his limo is about to stir him to life. This story was unexpected. It was filled with moments of joy and dark moments of pain. Love and friendship filled the pages and simple instances of happiness spilled over. Woven through the joy is the bitter sting of loss, abandonment and confusion making the beauty more sweet and the pain more acute. This is a beautiful book, but you will cry. Be warned.

Beautiful writing
This is a new author to me and this book came highly recommended when I said give me something that will rip my heart out and my me cry... something that has all the feels. THIS DID JUST THAT!!!Right from the start I just knew these two characters were in for an epic journey of the emotional kind. I wasn't wrong... this authors writing blew me away with the pain and toture in every word. This author made me feel everything. The highs and the lows. I literally felt part of this world. I felt myself falling in love with Jonah. I was invested in their journey. Kaceys pain of the past, the need to love be loved was there in colour! This story will stay with me, not many books have gotten under my skin the way this did. Yes, I've read sad books, I've shed a tear or two but this one was a full blown ugly cry. I'm still tearing up writing this... my heart has been battered. But I won't complain becuase that is what I asked for. Bravo Emma... Beautifully written. You've done this couple justice with your words.

So beautiful
Jonah a soul so beautiful and a heart that was failing him. Lacey was a lost soul hurting from so many decisions which left her seeking any relief through drink and other things. These two meet under unusual circumstances where Jonah takes care of Lacey and Lacey recognised that she had a right to feel good about herself so she makes a decision that she wants to be part of Jonah's life . Jonah realises he could push her away or enjoy the time with Lacey. At first I didn't really like Lacey but she had depths that would help Jonah but also herself. Jonah's brother Theo whilst very protective of Jonah and wary of Lacey is struggling with his feelings over these two. Not afraid to say that I cried reading this book
