Beautiful but difficult to keep on. The heavy duty hair pins don't work well on fine hair.

I thought the white pieces were maybe pearls. Just plastic pieces used in floral arrangements.

This is a beautiful tiara, but it is just difficult to get it to stay on your head. It comes with two heavy-duty golden hair pins, but no matter how many ways I tried on my own, it would not stay very long. This would last long enough to do a photo shoot, but it's not the sort of tiara you can wear all day or night long.I think what I want to do with this is actually use it more like a head band sitting on my forehead, but in order for that to work, I will have to go to my craft store and find some kind of elastic or something to tie on the ends and keep it on.Basically, this piece has a lot of potential, but it will need some tweaking, and in my opinion, does not come ready-to-wear. It also took about two weeks to get to me, so give yourself plenty of time before your event to try this on, test it with hair styles, etc.I got this for free in exchange for my honest review.
