Two Types of Cuts [Updated]
Note: Sample received for test and review.This is a very nice, stainless-steel kitchen utensil with a peeler on one side and a julienner on the other. It's all stainless (no plastic anywhere), and it has a large eye for storing it on a hook. I used it two different ways, first while holding both the food and the utensil in my hands and doing the cutting in the air, like you would if peeling potatoes over a garbage can, and then while holding the utensil down on a cutting board and running the food over it as if it were a table top slicer.Because of its size, it might be a bit cumbersome for cooks with small hands. Also, because of it's size, it's overkill for small carrots or potatoes. But holding it down on the cutting board with one hand and running a potato over it with the other works beautifully. And it cuts a perfect julienne in a potato.Update: A few days and a few food experiments have passed since writing this review... I now have to remove a half star and admit that this utensil is really, really hard to clean on the julienner side. The base plate from which the tiny prongs that cut the juliennes have been pressed catch food and just won't let go. 3.2 Stars.

Fast and quick peeling for any job...
This the greatest thing ever invented for peeling vegetables and also for Julienne peeling. I love the stainless steel construction and the solid feel in the hand. It washes up in a heartbeat with no muss or fuss. It is dishwasher safe and it is easy to use. I really like the size and that I can slip it in the drawer and it does not take up much space. I have used it on carrots, potatoes, eggplant, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis and many others. It is fast and quick with a sure feel when you are using it.I received this from the seller at an discounted amount for an honest review.
