CLINIC SHOE Women's Terry Cloth Comfort Slippers, Adjustable Upper, Wide Width

My mother has been asking for slippers for a long time. She has not had a pair since she slipped in the house while wearing the type of slippers that have no back on them. I was hesitant to purchase any for her because of her history with falling, but every time I talked to her she mentioned how she would sure like a pair of slippers. Anyway, I decided to look for a slipper that could be tightened at the toe area to fit snugly. I also wanted a slipper with a back on it. I couldn't find any in the local stores but found this slipper through Amazon. Mom was really happy when she got these slippers and says she likes them. I've cautioned her to not wear them all day long as her foot needs more support, so she wears them in the morning when she first gets up and in the evening when she is getting ready for bed.

Nice shoes and I have wide feet. I wish there were more padding on the sole. For the price the padding on the sole is OK but I would like a shoe with more padding and would be willing to pay more for it.With this shoe I can feel what feels like the innards of the shoe.

The woman for whom I got these slippers has Charcot's foot on both feet and nothing is going to fit - if it did today, it won't tomorrow when the bones shift . She's delighted to have something that will go on her poor feet and not hurt. Standing and walking are no longer possible for her.Thanks for getting them here so promptly.

These are the flattest most unsupportive slippers I have ever worn. Not comfortable at all. And the Velcro part feels kind of crunchy and sharp against my foot. I never wear them.

I'm giving the slipper themselves 5 stars because they looked well made, cozy and nice for what they are. Due to severe edema, they were too small for the person I purchased them for, so had to return them. I even thought about keeping them for myself, but since I have too many slippers as it is, decided to go ahead and send them back. If the person you're considering buying them for (yourself?) has feet that are normal size or even slightly swollen, they would be nice. For severe swelling and edema, this may not be the right item.

Shoes were too narrow. Had to return them. But the vendor was quick to accept the return and provided a prepaid return label. I ordered the wide size in the same shoe and from the same vendor. The new shoes were perfect.

My mother wears a size 12 but had to find 13 because her toes are long. This is perfect for her 12 because toes can fit in the openings so no problem. She has high arches so the closing makes perfect sense.

The slippers were nicely made and great for elderly as they are easy to put on and take off. But the wide size was really more of a B width and did not come close to fitting properly. Could barely catch the velcro closure. Did not work out for us. Had to return.
