Meh..
Mistaken identity --- kidnapping --- revenge --- murder --- false assumptions and misunderstandings...this second installment had it all and then some. Including improper use of linking verbs, helping verbs and prepositions...wrong characters linked to past history from book #1 (Krystal dies, not Tiffany)...and on it goes. In book #1, Adriana is described with chestnut-brown hair...now her hair is red in this second installment. I don't know about you, but I need a strong, solid visual in order to connect to characters. This second installment lacked that. Extremely fast paced and choppy...from Iowa, to Minnesota, to Hawaii. This second installment is all over the place and not just geographically. It's the "Hatfields-vs-McCoys" all over again. This storyline didn't flow well and could have easily been included in book #1. It wraps up so quickly that it left me feeling incomplete.

Won't make your heart race
My first read of these authors and while the storyline was promising I found it went off on tangents that caused me to lose interest at times. On saying that I have read this book out of sequence so I may go back and check out the first book. I really liked the Raptor and Adriana characters, I was just a little disappointed at how much unimportant filler was in the story. The 3rd book sounds interesting and I hope it stands up to its blurb.

Never a dull moment
Raptor aka Trevor and Adriana have some things to work out. Brandy his ex says she is pregnant with his child so he lets her move in. This causes a strain on his relationship with Adriana. Brandy is sneaky and is trying tk break them. Adriana's mother isn't too thrilled either with all of the danger she is in. Will Trevor and Adriana work things out before it's too late?

Love
I’m so in love with this book series! I am so caught up with all the characters in this book and I cannot wait to meet Trevor‘s grandmother. I hope she shows up in the series somewhere later down. I hate writing reviews because I don’t want to give too much away but I absolutely loved the gift at the end.

Ridiculously bad plot at times. The men aren't very appealing. I didn't enjoy it
Oh boy! The plot is so ridiculous. So many events that just made me think 'really'? and 'seriously'? The men in these books talk forever, they definitely aren't your silent types. They spew thoughts and feelings in long monologues about their history and fierce loyalty to 'brothers' for no reason. There is only one sex scene and it isn't very hot.I really started to seriously dislike the male lead Trevor/Raptor, the fact that the whole time he didn't care that Brandy had been kidnapped, all his concern was solely for Adriana. He doesn't care that Brandy, who he thinks is pregnant with his child, was raped, it is just disgusting. And Tank having sex, or trying too, straight after the funeral of the girl whom he is supposed to love? Seriously! The men are not very appealing in this book.I didn't think much of Adriana, I thought Brandy had more gumption. The plot got even worse as it went on, suddenly Brandy became all self sacrificing and confessing the truth, that it wasn't Trevor she had been with and that she wasn't pregnant. It was also so far fetched that Mud would have bothered to stop before taking Adriana, to go take a shower! Then the whole Brandy being 'addicted to sex with strangers' thing. The fact that the guys just sit around in Misty's' trailer, instead of heading straight after the girls Adriana and Brandy that have been kidnapped, well it all just isn't very realistic.I can't believe I bought this book and the next book in this series, just because I wanted to read Jessica and the Judge's story, character's I enjoyed from the first book. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint but after this I'm not holding out hope.

I want my money back
I wasn't a big fan of the first book, but I hate not knowing what happens in a duet so I bought this. If it's possible, there was more errors in this book than there were in book 1. The book felt rushed, and maybe that's why there are errors all over the place. Adriana came off very selfish, especially towards her mother. Trevor didn't seem to have any character development at all, he just seemed to get more childish. Jordan is the most interesting character in this book, but I'm not about to spend my money reading about him if the editing is as shoddy in his story as it is in this. Don't waste your money buying this book, nothing interesting actually happens.

Mediocre read at best!
So I paid to download this book after reading the first book in the series which I downloaded for free, Resisting the biker. I have to say I was disappointed. Found this read very mediocre and almost gave up reading it about 60% through. The sex scenes were few and far between and poorly written, was like reading an instruction manual. The plot line was poor and lacked depth, for you could forgive if the sex scenes where steamy! One of the comments I made in my review of the first book was that the leading ladies character wasn't well developed, I stand by this, you don't really get to understand her as a person, her mothers character however was better developed alongside the leading man. Was it worth paying for, not really in my opinion.

Good story, shame about bad editing.
Good story, even made me laugh out loud at times. However, shame about the typing and grammar mistakes. I.e. his him together instead of just him. Also used wrong name in paragraph, ruined the reading of it. The book being in two parts and saying the first book is free is a bit of a con really because have to pay full price for part 2. Also made for inconsistency in story line as said mentioned some parts in 1st book and contradicted them in the 2nd. Ie Adriana learning and wanting to cook for Trevor in 1st, but so bad at it in 2nd would burn noodles and teatowels.
