We have not actually use them yet, but I think the value for the package was very good. I don’t know about the adhesion because, like I said, we have not use them yet. As far as sturdiness, it seems that these will be more than adequate.

These are a tiny bit bigger than 6 x 9 but perfect for embellished cards that I make. Adhesion is great. I just ordered another box.

All 50 of my envelopes were open on the left side- like the glue didn't stick. And I need these envelopes to send invitations and don't have time to return and reorder so I'm forced to glue every one of them. Super frustrating! Never seen anything like this...

I ordered these after looking hard at all of the options. I needed 6x9 envelopes and these are barely that. The programs I need to put in them do not fit and even after trimming some white space they still did not fit. The lower left corner of the envelope is glued wrong and it has to be gently separated so the cards would fit - barely. Very disappointed in these.

I have purchased many 6x9 envelopes over the years I have been a full-time artist, and I use them both for sending brochures of my paintings to potential clients and for normal mail to friends and family. Any time we are sending 5x7 prints or a lengthy letter that is easier to handle when only folded once, we use 6x9 envelopes. These particular ones are the nicest we have used, being whiter, heavier (though not too heavy to affect postage appreciably) and equipped with a peel-off stick tab that works well and is easy to use. I only ordered 50 the first time, but now that I have tried them, I will order more soon.
