Good for short haired cats
I originally bought this slicker to use when line brushing my standard poodle. I didn't really like it for that purpose. The tines are too short to really get in to his long hair, and the plastic housing generated static. However, my short haired cat absolutely loves the brush. He comes running as soon as he sees me pick it up. He happily rubs his cheeks against the coated tips, purring, if I hold the brush up next to his face. The slicker gently removes and holds loose fur from his back and sides. The cat is very happy the brush has joined my collection.

pet brush
This item doesn't do at all what I needed/hoped. It doesn't get down to the underneath hair. It also is very difficult to get hair off of it. It looked exactly like the one I had that is lost .... it is nothing like that one. Will use it but very, very disappointed with it.

Perfect for hypoallergenic dogs
My dog has hair not fur which gets matted easily. The groomer recommended this type of brush over the type I was using and it works great and keeps my dogβs hair fluffy and smooth without tangles or matting.

This is a great slicker brush, that really works.
I have a Mane Coon cat and a year old Anatolian Shepherd. This Niubow Pet Slicker Brush, makes it so easy to comb through the thick cat hair, as well as the under coat and coarser top hair of my Anatolian. Even though I brush and comb my cat and dog daily, I was very surprised how much more hair, this slicker brush was able to remove. The coated pin bristles is very easy on their skin and they really enjoy being groomed. I highly recommend the, Niubow Pet Slicker Brush

Gentle on Dog's Skin
I like this product because of the coating on the tips of the wires. Other brushes I looked at had sharp tips. My dog has an undercoat and this brush works well at clearing out loose fur. It also does not cut the way the Furminator does.

Our fur-covered monsters love this brush
Our cats like this so well, we purchased a second one. One of them likes being brushed, the other, not so much. Once we tried these on the ornery one, she actually enjoyed being brushed. Also, be prepared, because every single time you brush your cats, you will get tons of fur. Even if you brush multiple times a day. I think that's why the cats like it so much. It just gets into their coats deeper and feels better than our other old brush.

Does a great job on my cavalier!
I love this brush. My cavalier gets frequent knots in his fur and I have found that brushing with this brush daily prevents this issue.

Purrrrfect!
I am so happy I got this little brush. My cat is enjoying it at least twice a day and we enjoy less hair around the house as well. Her fur becomes even softer and shinier after each brushing. The pictures say it all. That's how much hair I got after using a different brush in just 5 minutes. All in all great product, easy to clean and easy to use.

The only brush my cat likes
The beaded tips make it easier on my cat's skin than plain wire brushes. Removes a good amount of loose hair without pulling out the undercoat. Doesn't get ALL the loose hair but does a pretty good job, and the cat enjoys it. The rounded tips seem to wear out and the wire peeks through after not too long (a couple months) but still good.

not quite big enough for my Bichon.
This is a good slicker brush but not as good as another brand I had been using. A little on the small size for my Bichon.

I thought I was buying a dog brush
I didn't know I was buying a tiny Guinea pig brush. I had a good laugh though, and since I bought 2 of them in size small it was an expensive laugh. Oh well. What else are ya gonna do?

A good slicker brush for single-coated dogs
I was concerned that this might be too rough, but unlike regular βpinβ slicker brushes this one has protected tips on the pins. My dog loves to be brushed with it.
