Nice glass lid for my 28cm fry pan.

28cm does NOT = 11.2". 28cm/2.54cm per inch = 11.02"
28cm/2.54cm = 11.02", NOT 11.2". Whoever wrote the listing for this product needs a lesson in metric-to-standard conversion.I bought this lid to pair with a No.10 Field Company cast iron skillet. Its inside diameter was just short of 11.25", so I expected this lid to nest with it perfectly. It does not. It is sloppy. My bad for not confirming the metric-to-standard conversion listing for this product.That said, I will keep it. It works ok, although while sauteing, a fair amount of steam escapes by the edge. I was concerned that some of the 11" aftermarket lids would sit too low, so I bought this one. Unfortunately, this is an 11.02" lid.Math lesson learned the hard way. Don't trust knuckleheads doing metric conversions.
