LIFE CHANGING
Five stars is not enough for this product. I am going to be completely honest in this review, and that means including the icky fact that I have been struggling with an itchy, flaky scalp for YEARS. I have tried every natural solution out there...salicylic acid, no poo, no nothing, baking soda, honey, coconut oil, aloe vera, and apple cider vinegar. My scalp trouble was so severe that, on multiple occasions, I would have to excuse myself from work or a night out to rinse my head with ice cold water to try and numb the burning sensation. It was always fun (read: embarrassing) to explain to people why my head was wet just 5 minutes after they last saw me. The problems would even strike at home, and I would often have to shower twice in a row, as sometimes, after one shower, my scalp would just flare right back up again. I had the most success with Apple Cider Vinegar, but every time I would sweat, I felt like my whole body smelled like salad dressing (and I am a very active person, so this was often). After a few years of using ACV, another side effect was that my hair was getting rather straw-like and ravaged. To offset the downsides of using ACV, I started to experiment with a few specialty products, but they all just caused massive scalp attacks. After doing a lot of research and reading a LOT of Amazon reviews, I found this product by TheraNeem. Since I was so desperate, I was open to trying anything, but I was grateful from the start that the price was not prohibitive. I was slightly nervous, as I had tried neem oil for acne issues in the past, and the smell was horrendous. Happily, this Gentle Therape Conditioner has a really pleasant, light coconut scent (which is noted to be from natural sources). Upon first use, I really felt that it was a soothing creme. It does not lather, and I have learned that is a good thing with hair products. It also rinses out very well, but has left my hair soft and fluffy (for lack of a better word). There does not seem to be any residue leftover after rinsing, and the soothing effects last for an entire day. (Full routine disclosure: I no longer use the AVC, but I do a clarifying rinse with dead sea saltwater every few days, which helps get ride of any build up.) Now that I have been using the conditioner for a few weeks, I can attest that it really does work. My scalp has not been this calm in almost 20 years. I can wear dark clothing in the daylight without fearing people seeing flakes on my shoulder. I can hug my fiance without worrying if he thinks that I smell like coleslaw. I know it sounds like hyperbole, but this conditioner has completely changed my life. Worrying about how I would survive the day without scratching at my scalp and being miserable used to take up a lot of mental space and time for me...now, I hardly think about it at all. I am so grateful for the other Amazon reviews that led me to this purchase, and I hope that my review gives another person in need the confidence to try this product. I am so grateful to TheraNeem for finding a way to make a natural product with limited, pronounceable ingredients that WORKS. *cue angelic choir*

Awesome Product
I have fine hair but I also have a lot and it's long. I just use this daily along with the shampoo. Most shampoos and conditioners make my hair feel oily. Not this one though. It's my favorite and I have purchased many times. If anyone is looking for something also for their kids. Neem is a great defer for lice. I work at a daycare and we had one year where kiddos got lice and I decided as a precautionary after reading about how pure Neem oil by itself can be used to treat lice. That having a shampoo and conditioner that contains Neem oil might also help keep all that away and it has worked wonders for far.

What are petroleum products doing in an organic conditioner?!
At first I thought this conditioner was amazing - the smell is earthy and sensual, and more importantly, it seemed to make my curls richly thick and shiny with a weight that defied flyaways and frizz. I used it with a clarifying citrus shampoo, and only once a week. I think more frequent use or a moisturizing shampoo, it would have been too much. But then....I started having horrible cysts all over my hairline, even on my scalp. I am acne prone, but never in my life like that! I did some experimenting by not using it for a month, letting everything clear up, then trying it again. Same result. But this was only to confirm the obvious explanation that a quick (belated) look at the ingredients had already told me: Mineral Oil. There is nothing more comedogenic. Not to mention that it's a petroleum product?! Not a big fan of the PEG-40 in there either. Organix South, please go back to the lab.By the way, the good effects seemed to diminish over the course of my experiments, possibly from build-up, or sensitization of my scalp to being suffocated by mineral oil.

This Product is Definitely Worth a Try
First, I would like to say that I am an African American woman age 45. My hair is cut into a pixie hairstyle, and the texture of my hair is similar to Caucasian and Hispanic hair. I tried conditioner and shampoo after receiving them on the same day from the seller. Wow! This product is fantastic. Instantly, I felt a tingly sensation, which makes me feel that it was working. After I let my hair air dry until it was damp, I noticed that my hair was really shiny and the skin of my scalp felt firm but not drying or itchy. Afterwards, I added John Masters Organics pomade to my hair and wrapped it in a silk scarf. The next day, I removed the scarf and applied Morocconoil to add moisture and sheen to my hair. I was very pleased with the healthy look of my hair. In addition, the frizz that used to occur on the outside edges of my scalp have disappeared. I recommend the readers of this review try the TheraNeem Gentle Therape Conditioner.

Love this product
I have scalp exzema & I swear I have tried EVERY shampoo, treatment, scalp brush, herbal treatment out there & was resigned to the fact that I would have a flakey, itchy, embarassing scalp for the rest of my life. I came across this product after yet another search for yet another shampoo so I thought why not try it after reading reviews. After the 1st use my scalp was clear & I could actually see my scalp, feel my scalp (before I could only see, feel the flakes). I am thrilled with the results after searching for a solution for so many years. I also purchased the conditioner. Using these two products my scalp feels so much cleaner, it smells great AND my hair is softer, more mangeable than ever. Cannot say enough good things about it. I <3 Theraneem!

Solid Conditioner
As I went to write this review I noticed that the shampoo has a picture of a grapefruit on it and the conditioner has a picture of a coconut on it. But I didn't notice a difference in smell, but maybe I wasn't consciously looking for a difference. This condition like the shampoo didn't come with a ton of chemical ingredients which is part of the reason I chose it. Although it didn't clear up my dandruff it did make my hair feel nice and soft. May keep this around for use once and a while.

coconut, coconut, coconut!
As I use and love Theraneem shampoo I thought the conditioner would also be suitable for my irritable scalp. However the smell of coconut is overpowering. Although coconut is not listed as an ingredient there is a large picture of one on the label which I missed. It is also a wellknown cause of skin problems for many people and within minutes of using it I was scratching away. Very dissapointed.

Organix South Neem Oil Conditioner (with coconut) ...We love this stuff!
This is soooo much better then the other Organix contidioner I've tried - their awful Volumising Therapรฉ one - as well as practically every other conditioner I have used of late.It leaves even my dry brittle hair luxuriously soft, and makes de-tangling our daughter's brittle curly hair a breeze. I hope this stuff remains available available on Amazon. It's a family staple.

Smell s nice for a Neem product
Smell s nice for a Neem product: probably good for coarse dry hair: too rich and a bit sticky and heavy for my fine hair, I use it as a after bath body cream on damp skin!!! OK as a PRE- wash conditioner if you shampoo it off.
