This was a direct replacement for the starter capacitor in my air compressor. I installed it and it works like a champ. I wish everything worked as well.

Works perfectly on my Hoteche (yeah, I never heard of it before either) 21 Gallon air compressor that I bought from Craigslist.I found a busted air compressor that I purchased for $50 on CL and it turned out to need this $13 capacitor to run. Matching the worn out markings on the old compressor as best as I could, I settled on this one and took the gamble. Luckily for me, the gamble paid off and I now have a working compressor for less than half price of a new one.Size wise, it's about the size of a smaller 8 oz aluminum can. Around a red bull size. Beware that the bottom does not have a hole for mounting it to a screw.
