Replaced a similar product that was malfunctioning. Working as designed. Needed no adjustments.

Switch failed at 60 days. It failed in the closed position, meaning my pump continued to run all night. This resulted in overheated PVC piping, which burst. Replacing the piping and associated connections required considerable labor and expense.

I bought this as a spare to have around if something happens to the one currently installed on my water pump. They are quite reliable, and the only time I've had to replace one is years ago when the contacts burned out. That only happens once in awhile, so I am beginning to maintain an extra of the relatively inexpensive items which might be needed quickly in an emergency. Cheep insurance --- much, much less expensive than a weekend service call to an electrician in the middle of a snow storm.
