Best basic fm/am cb radio
Best radio on the market for am/fm basics, I used it in my truck and transferred it in my sedan. No problems at all since I bought it a year ago

Good simple cb
Good basic out of the box CB. My " BIG" radio bit the dust and i needed something fast for doing oversize loads and getting traffic updates. This fits the bill. Range with my particular coax cable and single antenna is a Mike to 1.5 miles. Simple and basic , fits the bill for now.

Good but not perfect.
I have the same model that is decades old that was made in the Philippines. The old unit has been repaired many times so I bought the new unit. Comparison: Reception: Old 8-- New 6 Transmission: Old 9+ New 8-- Both have had SWR tuning and using the same Wilson antennae. I will be having the old unit serviced again and this will be used as a back-up. I think my Cobra 29BT may perform better overall also. These are used in dump trucks, subject to dust and a lot of vibration. Most radios last 24 to 28 months before replacement or servicing.

Great value, had to send back the first one i got because of Low Volume called Amazon about yhe problem they sent out a New one and had it within 24 hours, the New radio works lije a Charm!Thank you Amazon!
